Mini Elsinore Added a reply to How does Kyle have #11
3/4/2018 1:11pm Those legends are men known by their actual name. They transcend a simple number. Kind of like Magoo---or Barnett----or RJ. Was Michael Jordan 23 or 45? Was Kobe 8 or 24? ....or can one simply say "Jordan" and "Kobe" without need for a number. But, hey, some of you guys seem to prefer being identified by a number.....

Mini Elsinore Added a reply to How does Kyle have #11
3/3/2018 4:05pm First, you seem like a helluva good guy and I'm certain we would agree on a lot of things. Semi trucks and permanent numbers will never be among those things.....

3/3/2018 8:27am I don't Frank on Vital, but I remember Frank Stacy----and that dude was fast, and he proudly ran the number he earned.

3/3/2018 8:25am Well, the "new" or "casual" fan will certainly understand that depth of artificial "hooey." Nah, nah, they won't. Even dedicated fans can't follow that line of sh!t. Run what ya earned-----how one is performing will be measured by THAT baseline number. JMO.

3/3/2018 8:22am 100% agree----run what ya earn. Even a "new fan" can figure out you finished "17th" last year if your number is 17. If you're running higher than your number---good on you; if not----well, then.... But, someone will say: -"It allows the riders to brand themselves!" Really? How, exactly? Feld will not allow personal rider merch at the venues and other...

2/27/2018 12:02pm Classy guy and, indeed, very loyal---and a consensus builder. Could see him running MoN effort after Roger bows out.
Mini Elsinore Added a reply to Acerbis TLD Limited Edition Full Plastic Kit
2/25/2018 10:50am I'm not into current bikes, but in 10 years or so these kits will be in strong demand. Much like the Pro Circuit PEAK plastic that requires special manufacturing runs every few years when 100+ want to pre-commit.

2/10/2018 5:48pm I get it, but that is a personal choice. I've seen co-workers get re-hired because they stayed visible and the bossman's opinion/needs changed.

2/10/2018 5:31pm OCScottie is an asset to the discussion. So, there is nothing to prevent him from hopping on here and bench racing with the family? Perhaps he is just over it. He's a big boy and the Vital family has been good to him, so surely he isn't pouting.

2/10/2018 4:41pm I'm confused. Is OCScottie banned from posting as a fan?

2/7/2018 2:58pm Glad to see RV in a happier place now. He always looked absolutely miserable at the amateur nationals----while his little bro roamed the pits having an actual childhood.

2/7/2018 10:36am It's your forum. I'm just a single consumer of your content, so don't worry about my old man comments. Still----why not start a "training" forum. You know----like "bike builds."

2/6/2018 5:28pm Little Italy----or whatever they call it (just up the hill from downtown center). It is basically an alley with a bunch of individually owned italian places. Kinda surreal, and the food was outstanding.
