I can hear Barcia on the rev limiter all the way here in Vegas. It seemed the last few races that he had gotten away from that crap.

It’s survival mode....should have been over by now. I’m getting ready to head to SD for the race. Maybe it will be over by the time I get home

YEP! Agree with that 100%. Was just thinking the same thing before I saw your comment. I'm still in the dark about what happened with that. I thought the guy did an AMAZING job moderating and adding color to these race threads. Sad that someone "in charge" couldn't see that. Not knocking GD2 in any way, but I sure miss OCScottie. And I STILL would like to know why "they" - whomever made the decision - changed it up.

yeah, it was 50.7. Like Ezza (and Jim) said, he stopped on the track.

but, he certainly didn't stop on the track while posting that lap time. so what gives? how does that work? is it just the very next lap, after stopping, that doesn't count, or is it for the rest of the session?

Yeah, Scottie was a great host of these threads. I'm not trying to fully replace him or anything.

I'm a bit more active in the night show threads, but during practice I'm focusing a lot on Results Sheet and trying to keep up with anything else that may be going on, so my actual involvement in the thread is pretty limited outside of posting timesheets and maybe the occasional news bit/photo.

It also doesn't help that the Instagram embed codes (at least for me) have been pretty hit-or-miss lately, which is a big portion of what I usually post in here.
