I think he is kind of over professional racing, He has a wife and kid(s?) and a clothing brand to work on. Always liked the guy but I don't think he will be racing again. Nothing wrong with that.

Tickle was doing some of the instruction at the Jessy Nelson ride day. He said he was basically on a private Husky with hopes of future support. As an instructor, he was very informative and helpful. His explanations were easy to understand along with sharing why it is important to apply them.

How can you say starring roll ? He was one of many cases that get shown each episode. Do you remember the officers remarking on what a nice guy he was. Pity you dont get the back story of a rip off Mercedes garage charging for something they didn`t fix. Pity you dont get the story of him trying to work with the garage to sort the problem whilst being overseas racing and out of the UK but that doesn`t make for great sensational TV. While I can’t say I don’t completely disagree, you still have to finish the series to be able to win it. Sexton won it fair and square, you can’t take that away.

I went back in 2016. 40+ class - 38/31/30 for 31st overall. I did not keep accurate records of all the costs. However if I estimate all of the costs of entry fees, hotels, gas, food, hotels - I spent between $4k - $5k. Was it worth it? I have not regrets. It was a great experience, had a lot of fun. Having done it once and checked that box, I would not do it again. The positives. - The atmosphere and energy are clearly different than any other race I've ever been to. - 42 man gates are rare...

Thanks for the kind words from everyone (except a couple haha). But yeah I just love racing still and as long as it makes financial sense and I enjoy what I do then I figure why not keep doing it. I love the sport in general and I’m just as much of a fan as you guys are. The business side of it isn’t the best part for sure but riding and racing make up for that most of the time.

I know what you're saying and I think I can give you an answer; at least from my perspective. Most of the time there is a short conversation between me and the rider so that I can get some background information and feel them out before I press the start button on the recorder. Since I already have some insight into how the rider feels, I can present them the topic in a way that allows them to give more detail. Because it's something they've already talked about a short time ago, they've often thought more about what they want...
