To add a bit more to questions about AJ... The team started because of AJ (and Jason is crazy haha) because Jason wanted to help him clean up his program a little bit. AJ was using SGB before there was even a team. AJ sells a lot of suspension... the business that takes the team racing at all. AJ and Jason are both extremely loyal. The goal of the team isn't strictly race results. It is more: - Sell product and get exposure for sponsors (AJ kills it at that) - Remain fun so Jason can keep spending his SGB...

It was a bit sad seeing his abandoned FL track this morning. I couldn't help but think it's current condition is sort of a metaphor for Chad Reed the motocross racer: showing it's age, nearing the end, and not what it once was....but still a total badass lurking under there. What a run that dude has had..and it ain't over yet!

As a parts manager, would you rather buy products from each of your 500 brands individually, or get all the brands you need from three or four sources? Distribution really helps.

How does HD bring all that cash to the table for the joint venture and then Alta still has to cease operations? Are they that bad financially? Now HD claims to be the leader in the "electrification of motorcycles" using Alta products and technology.

This bike is really good. I went to the intro and had a blast! It's amazing even with all the emissions how good it really is. Honda did a lot of work to make it good on and off road unlike the KTM/Husky which are good off-road but kinda shitty on the street. In fact I think the suspension on the Honda is much more performance based for off-road than the KTM/Husky. https://www.keeferinctesting.com/motocross-testing/2018/9/17/2019-honda…

9/3/2015 9:04am Great post! I'm lucky if i make $I78 on a CRF250R. Id send him a quote and i'd be $100 more than the 3rd biggest Honda dealer in the nation - but I will not ship the bike to him. Its against Honda's policy. I have 14 employees and 2 kids that i have to support and i'd rather not...
