This is the worst television production of all time. In, out, Malin is only talking part time, you can't hear Chad Reed and it's like they've only got two sets of cameras on the whole track. They can't follow anything...
Commercials, lots of commercials. The cut away from the chick about to talk to Jett.
You caved in and paid the $55?
I should have.
Still better than Weedge & Stewart talking shit the whole broadcast.

WTF@!@@
CBS SPORTS AFTER THE FIRST MOTO IS SHOWING TRACTOR POOLS!!!!
Anybody else have this problem? They did not even show the scores.
lol, refund please.
I don't think that word exists in Luongo Land. 😄
No commentary here on Stan Australia!
They're missing every pass and then show 6 minutes of commercials. Wtf.
Agreed. That coverage was terrible. It made me appreciate Sx/Mx coverage. That’s saying something.
Whoever is down voting this post, you must work for CBS sports. That was embarrassing.
🤣🤣
Don’t recall MXGP-TV having any of these issues through the GP rounds? But certainly multiple at Ironman.
The commercials were unbelievable. Cutting away from the action for five minutes several times 🤬
Each commercial break was 3.5 minutes. Basically 1/3 of the moto. Nationals coverage was so much better! Camera angles, sound, well just everything was much better for the Nationals. Hopefully it will improve for next year.
I didn’t have any commercials? Also only moto there was a dead period of talking was moto 1 & honestly I think they lost audio. Would make sense cause they lost the stream before that too. Which sucks for sure.
Moto 3 I think they did great with the announcing. Bummed they missed a couple incidents. Jett’s crash, coenens crash. But I don’t think Ironman is set up great for cameras or viewing.
You guys are comparing two different things. Peacock is dedicated to showing the full races, it’s a streaming package. If you paid for MXGP-TV you got the same thing as peacock. If you watched it on CBS, well that’s regular TV with commercials just like a football game.
Pit Row
Makes sense for the commercials, however, it was still an absolute dog shizz of a production.
What’s bad is I went back to watch the replay of when the feed went out. It’s just completely missing even from the replay, it’s black for 7 minutes even on the replay.
This was unusual vid coverage for both MXGPTV and AMA Nationals imo.
I’ve subscribed to MXGP for at least 10 years, and watched AMA Nats for the last 25 years or so.
Always stellar!
But not today, Whaddaduhfugggg?
Was the coverage farmed out to the local Dollar Store, lol?
I was left… Underwhelmed, even though I knew the “On Track Battles” were Kicking It,
Love, love, LOVE this Event, just bummed with the substandard Coverage of today 🤦♂️
I thought our live timing was bad… Having to wait until they cross the finish line to update the running order felt archaic.
What a disaster. I hate complaining about telecasts but good lord. This is why I don’t watch MXGP. The commentary sucks, drastically cuts to commercials, the camera quality sucks as it looks like I’m watching an old VCR recording, and they miss everything. Have the U.S. TV crew take over MXoN broadcasting.
Yep.
I turned it off. Mid 2nd moto.
I don't get here often and I don't miss it.
Why are there so many ads on this site?
I guess I understand you have to sell some stuff.
coverage was definitely not usual MXGP standard
That was the worst coverage i have ever seen on MXGP-TV, the camera placements were shocking, the sound was awful, the feed dropped in and out, comms was sketchy, at one point we were taking the on circuit feed.
I have no clue how it can suddenly be that bad, unless they had a new bunch of people somewhere in the loop..MXGP-TV is always solid.
I will make enquiries, something wasnt great , and folk deserve to know. Its obvious that they dont have in 'infeed' of their own 'outfeed' , because if they did, it would get seen instantly.
They didnt even follow stuff well... not like them at all.
