I think Eli and Chase will both struggle with the new rides.

Give Chase a rear shock that doesn't try to kill him and he's going to be flying 

Eli/Sexton/Prado average running order 

SX and MX?

Eli: 5th, mostly in the 4-8 range

Chase: 4th, mostly in the 2-5 range with some DNFs or double digit finishes

Prado: 8th

I hope he does but unlikely, I hope Chases desicions were only monetary not Championship

based cause i think he's been pretty wrong

Anyone else thinking this is a terrible decision for Chase to go green? Being so finicky with bike setup I’m concerned about him going Prado in 2026 

From what I can remember, Cooper Webb is the only one to switch over to an Austrian brand and do well at Sx right away. They usually get it figured out for mx. 

Eli and Prado are teammates, can't get my head wrapped around that. United in their hate for Kawasaki! 🤣 Ok, Eli not able to get Kawi to move in same direction after multiple championships is just a tiny bit different than Prado's experience with Kawi / Kawi's with Prado. But will be bro's for sure at KTM!

I've thought Sexton was a complete idiot for signing with Kawasaki from the get-go...but I don't have the full story. 

The decision can't be all about money. As far as being finicky about bike setup, that should be a non-negotiable thing with him and Kawie...that they need to be willing to do whatever Sexton wants to please him in that area. Seems like their reputation for not being willing to do that proceeds them.

Eli will make the KTM work. 

Cooper Webb also went to the new KTM frame and didn't win a single race the year after winning the championship.

In a perfect world, chase, Eli and Jorge are 100% comfortable and confident. Racing would be so much better 

"Going Prado" is the new term for quitting.

Dungey won sx races his first year, on a bike that was put together quite quickly.

At the time, KTMs future was far from known.  In some ways it still is, Bajaj is already talking about the Triumph business model where nothing is made in Europe.  I would assume they retain the development team but I still suspect KTM as we know it won't exist in 3 years.

KTM has a mysterious shock issues that supposedly Husqvarna doesn't have because they can get the MXGP components while KTM and GasGas can't.  Barcia alluded to this at some point during the year.  I have no further details but that doesn't sound like winning is priority number one.

Rumors have gone around that bonus money hasn't been paid out because KTM needed the money to keep the team afloat.  I don't know if that's true, it's very possible that's Walty/Kooksey territory but the rumors are out there. 

So given how long ago Chase made the decision, and with how KTM was going through the US equivalent to Chapter 11 bankruptcy, I can't blame him.

He had that on the Honda… but then the front end was the problem…

I don't see Chase doing much on the Kawie. The friggin guy has more issues than Time magazine. I see Eli doing what Eli always does...run up front. Eli will put in the time and work to be ready.

If Sexton doesn’t get on well with the Kawi, his only real option after that is Yamaha. 
Deegan and Sexton in 2027/2028 if Webb retires?
