Any reason? I think he's the faster rider honestly. They're both great it's not really much of a difference but I'm not sure why RJ got the call over him.

Coop and Deeg should line up for a quick practice moto a couple days out, if Deeg isn't as good to go as he claims, send Cooper. I know these guys are riding with freshly plated collarbone all the time, but he should have to show he's healthy enough to put in full motos at 100%.

Major props to Jcoop for being flexible but man has the AMA done him bad by allowing an injured DBoy to take priority.

I think there will be some sort of publicity stunt involving #38.  J. Coop needs to be ready to go!

Maybe they chose RJ based on Star not having to foot the bill for 3 riders?

Nothing against RJ because I am a big RJ fan, but would have liked to see JCoop be the third guy. I understand the decision to have RJ as the guaranteed guy and JCoop as the back up ready to jump on the 250

Because if Haiden can’t race J coop will be a quick fill in. RJ said that he would not ride a 250 so this is the best option in the larger picture.

Even if most of us would have replaced Haiden with JCoop in the first place and called it a day.

I’d go with JCoop over Deegan with a freshly-broken collarbone, but what do I know.

Lets be honest people were going to bitch whether he went or not. Only thing that would have changed is what they bitched about. 

Did they go with RJ to spread the OEM love? I assume Eli is on blue for the race. 

Sure would like to hear Mike Pelletier explain why they confirmed J Coop on the team, and then reneged on that.

IMHO, Deagan will back out. He just wanted to be on the team officially. No way will he race with a fresh plate, risk a crash and setting back testing and training for 2026. He'll probably bow out next week...and he should. Not that he isn't the best guy on a 250, because clearly he is, but because he is hurt, needs to heal and couldn't ride his best. J Coop will ride. 

I feel bad for JCoop. You can tell he really wants to do the race and represent his country. That video right there is why JCoop is so well respected and a great roll model. The difference between his attitude/personality and Deegans is so drastic. 

send JCoop over Deegan, it means a lot to him. Which means a lot to me. 

Eli, RJ and JCoop is a team I’d root hard for! 

This is the best case scenario....let's hope that Deegs can be honest with himself and if he can't ride at 100% he will step aside and let Cooper go. 

Deegans Ego will get in his way yet again like Vegas,  he isnt mature enough to ride MXON
