We don’t need it delayed 3 years.

With '22 & 23' models still unsold, and Tarrifs causing issues with adding considerable end costs, maybe Kawasaki have reconsidered?

Over five months now without a single peep...  For those that remember 1985, let's hope Kawasaki doesn't get similar results.

I hate to speculate, I can’t help but wonder if Kawi has 2 strokes on the back burner right now considering the KX450 recalls and now the impending ZX6R recalls, the ladder of the two not looking good at all for Kawi.

KX450 recall fix has been in place for over a month now. ZX6 recall fix was announced this week. Those have zero effect on the 2 stroke. I'm guessing it will be announced in the fall along with a redesigned 85 and 112.

Hopefully they announce a new marketing team too 😬

NO! Stop your complaining Sir and continue to wade through the endless/ mindless go nowhere conversations to get no answers that you want. This is the process Sir and it builds character!

It don't matter none now. Too many bitter over the wait even if there were a legit release.

Besides, a '26 carb'd 350 from Beetah with updated MX frame, linkage...etc.

Will someone promise to start a new thread when something actually comes out? I’m so disappointed every single time I open this thread.

Seriously. Who is gonna give a shit about a green 250 when you got an Italian 350 electric start counter balanced steel framed KYB’d weapon. The bar has been set and kawi engineers are jumping out of their offices into the nets below their buildings.

Theres the head engineer now

I work part time in the service dept. of a big 5 dealer.

The other day a technician was surfing Kawies info website.  He came across 2 folders that he could not open. A KX150 and a KX300.

Now, best case scenario these 2 models are the new 2T bikes Kawie has been touting for the past several months.  Worst case is the possibility that these are new 4T models.

I am not a fan of the Kawasaki brand, due to a poor dealer when I was a little kiddie. But you have to give them credit where potential credit is due.

I do sales at a Kawi dealer and will start poking around to see what i can (or cannot) see... and ask my service manager to as well! Our sales rep eluded to one being a 300, but a 150 makes a shit ton of sense too!

I think that certainly confirms that their first intention to is to appeal to the off-road crowd first at least. Those are two very popular off-road displacements and cover a good spread of riders as well.

That’s the Kawi engineer that was given the assignment of building a 125 . That can out power the DBP,s Hyper mid range rush of acceleration. Poor dude haha

And with that....  ProAMA should change the rules to allow 150cc and 300cc 2 strokes.  They will no longer be able to use the excuse that there are no companies that produce them.

MX bikes only? I guess Kawi wants to remain to be a bike I have no interest in.

Thats a shame. Have you notified them that you have no interest? Maybe they will change course to get your interest.

Just a thought

I heard a guy say …

I happened to see a folder …

I used to know a guy who worked at a dealer …

A KX150 would be awesome. It just so happens I heard of a credible rumor of a guy who has a cousin who’s a big Kawi fan and he said he saw a guy with a Kawasaki hat on that had apparently (according to a waitress) eaten breakfast right across the street from a giant billboard with a motorcycle on it, and he scribbled KX150 on a napkin.

Jiminy Cricket was actually Kawasaki green when he first sang “When you wish upon a star.” It was later changed to a lighter green. But the fact still holds true that if you wish for it enough, then it will surely happen.

There are are a few in this thread with credible information, a lot of us work the industry or have close ties with people who do.

While the exact details still remain vague, expect to see more information this fall. As I said in a different post, this will not be a singular release, but multiple models.

A 150 would be a good idea with a 125 cylinder option.  Stock bore 125 for Wi. 125 class . Millville is 125-150 . I saw a real nice kx125 sat racing it sounded like a mod bike in 150 c .  The bike looked the same as a 2025 on the track   , it’s all about the rider.

Best news I’ve heard in a while. Surely the XC versions won’t be far behind.
