Can one of these “media” people at least ask when we can expect an announcement on his plans for ‘26?

Part of me wants to see him on KTM since the bike is well known and they have volumes of data to work with. It’s proven to be very good.
The other part of me wants to see Ducati. Totally unknown for SX and little data for MX. But Domenicali is a proven winner and I think they could provide the resources to make it good. How are the MXGP guys doing? Performing to their expected talent levels?

They aren’t going to ask a question everyone knows the answer to. They will announce it in October along with all the other changes in the industry.

PR departments have to wait until the boss tells them it's OK to run the story.

At least burkeen named a bike and reported what he actually heard. No wonder he can't get press credential.

On swap interview he said he's only been training at his home track.

That is pretty much all he has done his entire career.

Eli to KTM is probable but the hurtle is that he is a Monster Energy athlete and KTM is Red Bull.   Ducati would be the more likely because they are Monster Energy related in Europe but not sure if they are ready to pay what he will ask if he is happy with the bike so I feel Barcia would be the man for Ducati. Anderson is a good choice for the vacant spot at HEP.

Malcom to Triumph because the switch to FXR is a sign even though the fishing side is a smart move as well and Sexton to Kawi is most likely a done deal already.

Is Eli a Monster Energy athlete or does he ride for a team that is sponsored by Monster...or both?

I believe it’s been said that the US Ducati team will be sponsored by Red Bull.

I've been hearing Pingree's buddies over at TLD Ducati have been seeking out a Tomac deal "aggressively" after going for Roczen fell thru.

It is the most likely scenario for Ducati for State side

Lets start a GoFundMe for Yamaha. Tomac needs to be on that bike. I hope he kicks ass outdoors and makes a spot for 2026.

I heard a little tidbit of Tomac to Club MX Yamaha. Crazy talk, or a real possibility?

Interesting. I read somewhere when it became blatantly evident that Star Yamaha was not going to keep Eli on the team, and that Ducati was being bantered around, they said they flat weren't prepared for a rider at the Tomac level. Maybe that's changed, at least financially. Makes me wonder why the Roczen deal "fell through".

Can't we get some other drink brands to sponsor race teams?

- Liquid Death Beta

- La Croix Triumph

- Snapple Ducati

A Ghost Energy, C4 or Reign I could see doing some sponsoring. I believe Reign already sponsored another sporting event.

As said by someone earlier, I'd bet money Eli will not ride a bike with Showa suspension on it next year.

Beyond that, I feel he'll still be a free-agent for next year for the next few months.

If Eli doesn't like the KTM, that would mean an AP/Vialle combo. No offense to either, but would this be the first time since 2012 they have no Championship contender?
