Pipe dream, but how cool would this be? I mean hey, it's a proven platform with tons of development data, cable clutch, basically free reign with suspension, and everything would come full circle. Just sayin 😉

Personal opinion on brands aside I hope he can land somewhere and end those final 1-2 years he wants on his own terms. I get the position star is in, but man the sport is so much better with ET3 trying to snap throttle cables in it.

I don't know Lloyd, Eli seems a little big for an 85...

If they were bringing sprinters to elis place, they should have done it in denver, a heck of a lot closer than SLC.

SLC is closer to Cortez than Denver by about an hour.

I thought it would be the opposite.

Ducati is an amazing company could they build Tomac a cable clutch.

Bike revs to the moon and is holeshotting gps with stockish motors.

Redbull Ducati Alpine Stars gear as Troy has worked with them alot in the past.

Has Ziggy doing the suspension too from Geico days…

Not even close. Denver is at least another 4 hours away versus going straight up the I-15 to SLC.

I'll guess Jett and Eli will battle the Natty's like Eli did with Chase in what, '22?  Yeah, Chase will have some good races also.

You're greatly underestimating how fast Chase is outdoors.

A kid will go 24-0 for the first time in a decade+, leave the outdoor discipline on top and there's people pretending a (very badass all-timer, look at my profile pic) dude on the doorstep of retirement is smoking him outdoors, or that someone who literally has NEVER beat him 450 outdoors has a chance (Tuck Sexton). Im here for the 2nd place debates and I'll take Eli all day over Tuck, Prado and Huntah - but the W, Jett all day every moto he's on the line, Dont know how you can assume otherwise even on the 25' Honda (which works better outdoors).

Name checks out….. way to tell half the story geezer.

Drive time. If you draw a straight line on a map Denver is much closer. No straight roads in the Rockies Smile .

I think if any teams were going there they would be in unmarked rigs.

Yes it is. As the eagle flies Denver is 40 or 50 miles closer but there is a lot more up down and left right coming from there Wink

That's a lot of work just to hide what they are up to! Whatever the heck happens I sure hope Eli is at Ironman in October!

Yeah, 30ish miles north of New Mexico and 30ish miles east of Utah.

Honestly I think they usually ship the bike in and then a small crew flies in to oversee the test.  No rigs needed.

KTM has unmarked sprinters also at their headquarters here in California

You Clowns....To even entertain the KTM idea. You don't truly think they will send in insanely obvious KTM sprinter vans to his house, right? They'd be sent in a blank white van with no lettering. Get smarter people.

I heard they went in vans marked with fictitious PMG Plumbing LLC and slogans about regaining that flow and flushing the competition. Rack full of pipe on top and everything. Everyone got a big laugh out of it and then he signed the contract.

So it seems Eli may be down to two less-than-desirable choices for next year and beyond...

On one hand an established team with a solid bike but a serious question over their financial viability.

On the other hand a brand new team with (probably) sufficient finances but a totally unproven bike.

It would be sick if Eli signed with Club and got a factory tranny, factory KYB and went out and kicked everyones arses. Twisted motors would be up to the task and he would have his clutch.

I can’t believe Yamaha can’t figure it out. He’s so dialed on that bike.

Starting to feel like Eli can’t find a ride he likes and decides to hang it up.

I can’t see him on ktm. Honda isn’t an option, Kawi, yam, Suzuki are out. Can’t see him signing up with Ducati or triumph to Guinea pig those esp in SX.

I feel this way too. I hope I'm wrong.
