I'm basically saying you have to remove Pierre at the very least and probably his buddy he is now suing. Restore investor confidence, focus on dirt bikes and dirt bike racing. Thr dirt bikes are good. The brand is strong, but people are tired of pouring money into the company only to see it squandered, and then asked for more money.

So, if KTM were to go away, will another manufacturer produce a 350 MX bike to try and capture that market? That would be a meaningful opportunity. Even the bean counters can’t ignore that potential sales.
As for the brand. I think the product is generally very good, the management is a shit show. How that plugs into an equation that quantifies the brand I do not know.
Ive been around MX a long time and this teuly is one of, if not the, craziest happenings I can remember. I havent read the entire thread so if it is mentioned, my apologies. However, has anyone mentioned the possibility of Red Bull getting involved, in some fashion of rescue? I mean they check a lot of boxes( Austrian, already involved, have a money printing machine). I know there is a lot going on here and they are an energy drink company. Who knows, just a thought, but a curious one to me.
I think that might have been a real possibility when the original owner / head of RB (well, one of - or was he the CEO?) was still alive.
But, with his - his name escapes me right now - death, I think Red Bull is now much less driven by 'passion'.
You never know though, even the frightening owing's of KTM / the Pierer Group, would be like small change to RB, I think.
The CEO was Dietrich Mateschitz, there were rumors of his son Mark Mateschitz offering Pierer Mobility a lifeline, but he denying it.
