So now you're saying he's a liar? That there's no chance that after a couple of days to reflect on the comment he regrets having said it? That it's all just a farce? I can be a fan of a young man that makes a mistake and admits it. I can't imagine he would want fans that think he's a fake.... Fickle bunch around here.

I don't think he's lying at all because I don't think he wrote it. Also, he doesn't need you to be a fan bro so get over yourself.

The latest Deegan youtube highlights him telling the losers to suck it so obviously the pr department made the move because whiny, entitled, so-called moto fans got their fragile feelings upset.

No doubt about it. He doesn't need me for a fan with you on the 'job'....

Cowards? Or fans of the sport that are tired of the clown show that he brings to it? Glad he apologized, regardless of who told him to. While he should have the common sense to know that comment would not go over well, at least someone is giving him sound advice. He should listen to that person more often.

Yes, cowards. Booing from their seats, and unlike the false picture you paint, they booed because while Haiden was being interviewed they replayed his pass on Cole. That's what they were booing-- a legitimate pass.

Glad he told them to suck it. He meant it.

You sound more and more like the 'LEAVE BRITTNEY ALONE!' clown with every post.

He had to bend to corp pressure and...ya... whatever, new generation of kids...big picture doesn't matter much it will all be forgotten in a few weeks.

His move on CD was aggressive and maybe uncalled for, but it wasn't dirty, no t-bone just an aggressive block pass.

Degs could have punted him into the next lane and CD could have backed out.

Anyway, I like CD, what an exceptional rider and very well mannered young man...hard to not like him,  if he can stay healthy he's going to be a multi champ!

Interested to see how he does outdoors.

Between Yamaha, Star and Feld, someone put him in a must situation for sure!

I’d be willing to bet that Haiden had so little to do with that apology, that the first time he saw it was when his people posted it.   If he really wanted to make it a “win”, he should do an actual interview and look into the camera with humility and genuine honesty and state his position in his own words .

No one else find it ironic that he posts this "apology" while still sporting his mugshot as his profile pic?

Hang on a minute, those of us who watched RDL saw him do it to Davies on the first lap of qualifying. He was a bully all day and knew exactly what he was doing, the comment was just the peanut on the pile of shit. Nobody will forget

He hit send and put his name to it so he gets credit regardless of what motivated it. I have given him plenty of shit but am happy to let him learn and grow up along the way. He's so close to being a dude that nearly everyone would root for if he just manages to stop having these moments. Still plenty of time for that to happen.

There is zero chance he posts that without being told to. C'mon...

Not that I care. It's entertainment, but don't make him sound all virtuous for making some stupid IG story post.

I think he should embrace the hate. Maybe this next race he should wear a spiked chest protector.

Bingo.  He dumped Davies in qualifying, which IMO is more egregious.  We could argue all day about the race, but there was no reason to do it in qualifying.

My favorite part about this apology was there he takes "full responsibility."  Who else would be responsible for the words coming out of the kid's mouth?

I’m a Deegan critic for sure. But this was a great look. It took minimal effort and will be totally worth it in the long run.

You think he (HIM) took a break from Fortnite to post this story with extra milli's sittin' in the bank? No shot.

I'm surprised corp stepped in, I thought they'd allow him to own anything he said/says.

I'm curious how much outside exposure this attracted to our sport. My co-worker that isn't into moto walked in Monday morning asking me about it😂

I dont have much of a problem with Deegans "badboy" persona, but it he doesnt know when to shut it off.

Case in point, last year when Forkner damn near died, on the podium Deegan was all "thats what happens when your in the DANGRZONE BRO!!"....Its like JFC can you at least confirm the kid isnt dead before you start taking credit for a horrific crash?

In my opinion, had Deegan in that instance dropped the bullshit and gone "You know, were competitors, but I genuinely hope Austin is ok" (or something to that effect) he could have won over a lot of people, or at least proved that his antics are just that, antics.

Deegs gonna Deegs

Deegs gonna Deegs

The funny thing is that it’s always the first thing that comes out of his mouth that is the worst things. And then he has to back down from it afterwards.

There is much talk about it being a fake persona and what ever, but with all the shit that comes straight out of his mouth without any hesitation or time to come up with it, it’s starting to become pretty clear which part of him that is the fake one..
