There is 3 laps to go.. half a lap later the white flag comes out
The funny one for me this round in the first 450 heat Will did a report about how Kenny said he'll be more comfortable on this track cause it's only got 3 right hand corners and 5 left as opposed to last week which is better for him cause he has to put his sore right ankle out less and then Ricky goes 'Yeah well luckily for him Will, there's not as many right hand corners on this track there's 4 lefts and 3 right so he's gonna get a little help there'
I mean I know some in here try to ignore what she says but maybe her co commentators should listen to what she says
Had to laugh at the end of the broadcast last night when, he and diffle were going on about "how well the track raced tonight".
And then in the interviews, the guys made a very strong point of telling how there was NO PASSING once you left the gate.
The start was everything.
Again.
And speaking of starts.
When the start out of the gate, and into the first turn, is as important as it is, why in the hell are we seeing a massive fireball blocking the camera shot ???
Again.
Or perhaps men/women who have devoted a lifetime and small fortune to a very important thing in their entire families and friend's lives and see the absolute shame at how it is represented to millions on an international level. Perhaps some realize this is not just a passing thing, multi-billion-dollar international corporations invest million upon millions of dollars into these events viewed by millions in multi-million-dollar venues where young athletes - who forgo any semblance of a real life - literally are risking their lives for our entertainment. Some of us feel the sport should be represented properly, it should be spoken about correctly in public and on air, to some of us the image of this sport is important. Like it or not, RC as a multi-time champion of our sport in a very public eye represents us all, and his constant on air gaffes, mispronunciations, and recurring, resentful takes on "keyboard warriors" is a bad look for us all, not even mentioning his lack of self-awareness that he is incompetent at his high-profile position.

250 heat with Vohland, all we get is how ‘crafty’ vohland has been lately.
The best one last night was he almost got passed because he couldn’t check up because he had checked up.
RC, are you reading here? Mate, PLEASE STOP SAYING IN EVERY RACE that "some rider" is 'confortable with his bike" AND "Hes finally 100% focused on the race" or something along these lines. For real... JUST STOP!! Tell that to Will to, please. You 2, just stop. Every damn race!!!!!!! its been a few years you guys keep repeating that tbf
Last night had great racing. But the commentary was noticeably bad, if not worst of the season. The zero context 2005 Atlanta SX reference was such an indicator that it was off. Also, the thousands of references about the fans being absolutely rabid yet practically zero footage of the pits and fans was so manufactured feeling.
My wife said “Hunter is way better than Ricky at talking”.
RC’s time will come to an end and so will the production team, but right now we’re stuck with him. Dang.
“These option lanes are really great, they give the riders two options to choose from”
WHOOAAAHHH
OHHHHHHHHH
Just put Stew, GL & Weege in the booth and be done with it
I will say it again, RC yeah no bueno. But the real issue is Bondo and the production itself. Second rate, awful ADHD cram crap down your throat but the actual race. He needs to go or someone needs to actually talk sense into the man. We look stupid
You funny dood. No, we do not have to let up, nor will we. Why? Because the announcers Suck and we are tired of watching on fn mute. Now go grab your shine box and get back to being the obtuse Moran you are.
Diff yelled out “BOGO” on a 2fer pass and Ricky yelled out RUN IT, shit had me laughing 🤣 lol
I couldn’t even hazard a guess how many times they say a rider is closing up when the gap has gotten bigger…and vice versa.
Came here to say this. A guy gets a holeshot and just looks aggressive and they go "he's starting to run away with it!" Meanwhile second place is literally right there.
When Hammaker had the collision on the left side of his bike on lap 1 of the main and Ricky said “Oh no! It looks like his brake lever is bent down!” was a point of confusion for me. Then I remembered the source.
"4 Laps to go Leigh".
10 seconds later the white flag comes out.
DIFF!
Pit Row
I laughed so hard at that.
He said it was FOUR LAPS to go...as there was around 1 minute left on the clock. Or as RC likes to call it, the "time clock"
ETA: This dude beat me to it ☝🏼️
I’m sick of listening to Ricky gargle sextons nuts in his mouth
That one was gold!!!
So many storylines heading into next weekends race. But there can only be two to talk about.
2005 Atlanta SX & thousands of references about the fans being absolutely rabid in the pits in Pittsburgh!!!
That must of been why he said “ ut oh “ when Chase appeared on Webbs rear fender after being a few seconds back. Pretty sure those were Coopers nuts that you heard.
Hunter killed it in the booth. The insight into the field being capable of 15 minute sprints in the 250 class was great
I am not a serial broadcast basher, and don’t believe I have visited this thread. But just had to say holy shit that was an awful night of racing. Going between MotoGP and Supercross on the same weekend is bad, but my god that was a bad night.
Can not believe how much Hunter elevated the commentary, instantly. Insightful, quick, relevant, and some laughs. It was a light switch. These guys are fucking terrible. They just talk in circles about racing, the riders, same rhetoric, never actually ABOUT the racing that’s happening on screen. Someone is closing on a rider, taking better lines, doing a different rhythm, and they are just rambling on, nothing, until said rider gets to the rear wheel then “WHOAAA”, like with thrasher. Insane.
I swear Ricky has the same script of talking points every weekend and just repeats them over and over, regardless of the situation that’s happening in front of him. How do we get another Hunter in the booth next week? Brayton, AC, where is Weege!? Can someone sabotage Ricky’s flight? So over it and ready for outdoors.
Sorry for my rant.
I liked when they asked RC whats the benefit of having split lanes/multiple lines? And he's response was something "well the reason for that is the riders like multiple lines because they can take multiple lines so they have multiple lines" 🤦🏻♂️
What on earth was the 'its like 2005 Atlanta Supercross' about?? That was 20 years ago! I don't even remember anything crazy happening at the time of saying it.
Hunter spent 15 minutes in the booth and was night and day better than these two dong beaters.
Will's ramblings i swear are the same every week. Whoever is leading or going fast 'well I spoke to him before the race and he said he's 100% focused and here to race.'
This was gold and I would have loved to have seen RC's and Diffey's faces during the awkward pause after this was said.
