Pittsburgh Mudder!

The weather has been super nice here for like a week now. It initially looked like this whole weekend was calling for rain but now it's looking more like maybe just tomorrow and over night into Saturday. Hopefully that is the case, I really don't want the first race in Pittsburgh in such a long time, to be a mudder. I want it to be a good one and hopefully we can host more in the future. Sems like a lot of buzz around town, over it.

I live 20 min from the stadium and we've had absolutely the 3 most perfect weather days we've had in a very long time .84 and sunny today as I type this.  Local forecasters are calling for light ,spotty showers Friday night  into Saturday morning but done before noon with warm. sunny skies the rest of the day. 

Latest weather has rain stopping at 7AM Saturday morning, with a total accumulation of 0.35 over Friday and Sat. That should give them plenty of time to get any standing water out.

I just found out we hosting the NFL draft next yr so ‘26 out the question, hopefully it comes back for the ‘27 season

The NFL Draft is only one week right? Not impossible to work around for the schedule. Especially if the fans turn out this weekend. 

yeaaa the dates for us is April 23rd thru the 25th 2026 , idk wht feld got in mind logistic wise so im hoping Pittsburgh is back on the schedule next season for early April or even the last east coast rd in may , I can tell u wht tho … after the bs we did tonight during night 1 of the draft , shiddddd we don’t need to host a draft event 😒 all my Pittsburgh teams boutta be dumpster juice for at least the next 3 yrs

The crew has it down to a science. It takes a good bit of rain the day of to make it an actual mudder. I can however see a shower or two after the tarps come off making it slick for a bit. 

Did you guys know that it's HISTORIC having four rounds in the NE?

Most of the rain is trending to the north or south around Pittsburgh, track will be good tomorrow.

Got a little wet walking downtown this morning getting some coffee, but radar looks as though itll stop @ 9. Hopefully they wait to pull the tarps until then.  

Also, had dinner last night and some of the Star racing staff were seated behind our table. Webbs mechanic and a few others. Always a good chance you bump into someone @ these things!
