The content that comes out of a single night is incredible, this event is on my bucket list. 

It's 2-days.  I grew up racing this event.  It's a total shit show.   The locals go ape shit since it is their only chance to ride all winter.

I’m only halfway through it and I’m LMAO. Double zero had a helluva bad night! Those whoops claimed sooooo many folks. A poor flagger minding his own business got taken the fuck out by a lone assassin. 😂 For those of you that ride quads on a SX track, I have a question-why? 🤣

It’s been a shit show for 40+ years. I grew up going to watch, never raced it because it was always expensive and I could race 3 weekends for the cost. The promoters regular outdoor track, Trailway speedway, wasn’t much better of a track. Always a busy day for Harrisburg hospital too. Got to see Pastrana race there though around 1990 on 80s. He crashed a few times and still won the race, it was amazing to see. 

Watering the entire track before the races was a great addition this year lmao. Also that jump into the whoops, what were they thinking? Provided some great entertainment though

The best thing about crashing a quad is that you get the added pleasure of having it run you over. They follow you like a lost puppy.

I took my 16 year old son for the first time to watch this year ( we are usually racing somewhere else)  and for the first 5 practices session he just sat there shaking his head and his jaw was about hitting the floor. Its pure madness some of the shit you see. 

I usually I have Youtube auto playing in on the TV in the background and when I hear the music hit on Matty's arenacrash videos, Im like Pavlov's dog.

Whoever builds that track needs kicked in the nuts.

Whoever soaked the track needs punched in the mouth. 

I like his videos but man the intro music is horrendous. 

It has been basically the same track for decades. Start used to go down the middle more or less, whoops on the opposite side and two doubles where the whoops are now. Jump in the middle has always been there. The promoters outdoor track wasn’t much more imaginative. 

Lay out is what it is. The obstacles are just built very poorly.. 

I love Supercross for the world class racing….but I love Arenacross for the entertainment!  I always laugh so much that my sides hurt by the end of the night.

Agreed. After seeing it in person last year the build looked like it was created for the purpose of creating mayhem. This year’s big double looked incredibly bad in particular. Should’ve been a bit shorter imo and the lander a bit more rounded. Again, mayhem. We go watch, I’d never let my kid race it in a million years. Thankfully he’s smart enough to not want to.

My Motorama 1980 5th place 125B trophy is one of my most prized trophies. Bad start in final and charged and passed for 5th at the finish line on my 1980 125 CR Husqvarna. 

Was thinking something similar. My first thought was that whoever built that track either doesn’t ride, or did a shitty job intentionally.
