Bikes are too fast. They try and build techincal stuff and it works to a point when it does but when something goes wrong it’s magnified.
The first 4 tracks were great, this one was a disaster.
The entire broadcast tonight is about injuries. Wonder how many times it was said and obviously seen. Pretty somber night to be hyped on racing.
All they are talking about is, this guys injured, this guys is coming back from injuries…..we have reached the point of what the human body is capable of enduring…bikes are too powerful, leading to tracks that are to gnarly…IMO…

Tracks are fine. Bikes are just too fast. Slow the bikes down and they can’t don’t the quad.
So far everyone hurt was not hurt on some part of the track that was to technical
I was going to start a thread that said exactly this. Feels like 80% of the broadcast has been about injuries and not because they wanted it to be…it sucks
yep (as Roczen tangles with 2 lappers)
Yeah I love this sport, but it’s hard to watch sometimes. Hope Brown is ok.
It's those damn dragons back.........
This track was shit tonight.
When I saw all the top guys clipping everything, I had a bad feeling
This track definitely sucked.
Sx ruins the real series which starts at Hangtown every year!! Now we have Prado,Jett!,and possibly Eli and Hunter out or not 100 percent for some time!! Suxxxx
I like sx less every year. Notice I said like. I certainly don't love it anymore. I was dreaming of Chase vs Eli vs Jett this summer.
Those saying the track sucked, we saw folks get shitty starts and work their way through the entire pack, that makes it a great track. Difficult maybe, but they are professionals, they are supposed to be able to handle a difficult track.
Not trying to be a contrarian, but I thought the track was awesome... Challenging, and 100 places to pass.
My kid told me after last weeks race that he was glad he wasn’t fast enough to ride supercross. I am too. I like it when he can walk.
My kid says the same thing, he's glad we never took it seriously and he can ride for fun
Pit Row
Heavy but true sentiment from a fathers perspective I’ll bet. The sport is truly insane
I liked tonight’s track in the part that it was technical and allowed time to be made up in certain parts instead of everyone running same lap times for 20 minutes. just had some unfortunate luck today i wouldn’t blame on the track it self. tomac, lawrence, roczen…not the tracks fault
Funny how you rarely see these injuries outdoors with the speeds being much faster and conditions more challenging!! Was shaping up to be the epic national series this summer!!
Can’t disagree there
dirt bike racing
Ya know I’m not sure you can ride motocross for fun. There’s no way to line up and say ah I’ll just take it easy and have fun. Not at 16, 17, 18 years old. I had to quit at 60 cause I couldn’t flip the competitive switch off. It’s all fun till the gate drops then it’s serious even in C class.
I agree totally lol I hypothetical made a all outdoor series on here about 5 years ago I understand the tracks and logistics aren’t perfect but shit it would be interesting
But SX is the cash cow and how they grow the sport... right?
Agreed, and same with last week's race at Glendale. Fast course and tricky rhythms with options. Great racing, fewer crashes/injuries.
Let’s grow it! lol we are what we are
It started out years ago as a motocross race in a stadium, but has evolved into something that doesn’t even resemble motocross. Modern day gladiators thrown to the lions to fill Feld’s pockets.
Tomac and Lawrence each dabbed a foot last couple races. Very innocuous situations for each. If neither of those happen, I bet no one really says much...
Seemed like a lot of 250 guys were over riding to make a statement out of the gate for the East series. This track required patience.
