You can hate the kid all you want, I’m not a fan of his podium antics etc.. But you can’t deny he puts in the work, he was worlds better than last week, his first moto start was great, and motored his way into third in the 2nd moto.. he set the bar very high with all the pre-season crap, but if you look at it how it is, this is a solid rookie debut

Im not a fan of Deegs banter but the kid is fast and has worked his tail off to get to this point. His rides the last 2 weeks have been very impressive. I believe his spot on the podium is his to lose. The cream does rise to the top.

Props to Dante Olivera and Mason semmens. Guys are throwing down qualifying times faster than several factory riders. And I would assume one lap sprints are not their specialty.

It was smoking while sitting next to track. It was cooked. Probably call it an electrical issue.

There's plenty of us here who are definitely in good shape and have the mindset that every ounce counts. Saying that 10lbs doesn't matter is a slippery slope when comparing specs across different brands. Honda just set the bar really high with knocking 10lbs off their new 450. That is huge. That's like strapping almost two gallons of gas to your seat in comparison.
