Reed's "uuummm" is starting to really drag on these days.
Anyone using "Yeah, no" can f right off.

I’m gonna start saying “No, yeah.” Start a new trend. Means Yes. 😁

Incredibly common for a dork in a meeting to end their statement with "right" in the white collar world.

Then I hear JT$ saying it, and I'm like "damn, the white collar doucher-speak has infiltrated moto."

He did not come across as excited at all even during a fantastic 3rd moto.

I thought the same, needed more excitemnt, but its hard to do that against the backdrop of being impartial.

If saying "right" really annoys you , go back and have a listen to a Lucas Mirtl interview he's the worst for it

One of the guys on the leadership team for the company I work for did that all the time. Now I notice a lot of other people in management and supervisor roles are doing it. To me it’s showing you aren’t 💯 sure but are trying to get people to agree with you, right…it’s annoying once you notice it

Lead speaker or leader , that’s easy.  I speak for everyone and I find that you will agree .  That the positive changes that I made and created. Will benefit us all.  I free style this stuff randomly all the time.  Usually in line ordering a frisco burger, up talking it of course. To work them for a free apple pie. Yum yum

I had to quit listening to his "Industry Seating" podcast because I couldn't take it any more.

People have been saying this in the Midwest for over 15 years

Ah the Midwest. There’s countless phrases not heard in other parts of the country.  DLR from In. Used some in VH lyrics. Little guitars song , I can’t crow b4 I,m out of the woods but there exceptions to the rule.  Example don’t talk your corn harvesting crop up , b4 you get it harvested and off the field.   Remember the farmers did a lot of hvy drinking back then.  In the 70,s my dad & I visited other farmers for stuff like buy , sell hay, rent equipment, etc.  most of these old Bros had a pirate hook for a hand.  I look & I see 4 bottles in the kitchen of brandy he,s dumping it in his coffee. In the barn there bottles . Take a swig b4 I clean the barn & get on the tractor. To put my arm into the pto shaft. Haha

It’s a way, when you are not 100% confident in what you are saying, to get validation to later use “X name” agreed cause they nodded their head after you said “right?” or sub consciously believe someone agreed with you.

At the other end of the spectrum is Lewis, who is actually pretty good.

JT is pretty good. I noticed the right thing, but all in all he is one of the better ones out there. It's amazing to me how he can remember the exact year and venue of any incident over the past 25 years.

Swap is not very good at doing an interview. That's me putting it nicely. Snorefest

I've got the "Ummmm" thing narrowed down to Reed and McGrath. Can't figure out who did it first. Reeds "Ummmm" is a little more exaggerated though. And yes this post and comments in these pages are out of complete boredom.

What's harder to listen too, JT's "Right's" ?, or RC's condescending "Okays" ?   This is just my opinion okay, but the okay's are way harder to listen to than the right's, right ?

Why does Reed have such a strong American accent? Sure, he's lived there a long time but he also only left Australia in his late teens.  Listen to Hunter and Jett who both left Australia at a younger age than Reed.  Neither sounds like an American.  Of course, they've only been here a few years but I doubt very much they'll have an almost total American accent when they're in the their forties.

RC is harder to listen to full stop because he seems incapable of using the English language coherently.

You realise Reed’s lived in the US longer than Australia right?

These guys should all take a public speaking class down at the local community college. Learn the impact of pauses and how to control their nerves.

It's not like he's the only one. Take a look at Roczen. He barely has an accent anymore. If you didn't know he was from Germany you would think he's American.

I used to associate "right" with stoner speak, now I hear young lawyers use it in court. When I hear it I think of Dr. Lexus, and wonder if the jury is thinking the same thing lol
