And, that's just like your opinion, man.

You mean Bajaj Auto India.

They have ownership in KTM and Triumph, which is why they can share technology with the two brands.

KTM owns the Orange, Red, and the White brands only.

Kawi had (has maybe? I haven’t paid super close attention to green lately) Brembos in the front, Yamaha has KYB suspension. Are they owned by Bajaj as well since they utilize the same suppliers? Or is everyone that uses Nissin components owned by Hitachi and now they’re making motorcycles?

Funny part is the triumphs produced in partnership with Bajaj don’t even use Brembo components which is the one part that is directly swappable between the bikes

Does engine come from KTM like 250f has? Of course their own moulds but still.

From looking at it it looks very KTM inspired for sure. 250 engine isn’t a direct copy from KTM as everyone thinks, just pulled as a baseline to start somewhere. I believe I was told that very very few or no internal parts will crossover between the engines. One user has posted their experience getting Rekluse to fit a clutch in his, and supposedly it’s a lot closer to a Kawi than a KTM

KTM and Yamaha both have relationships with CFMoto, that's probably why it's got an aluminum frame... 😂

Good grief, it is an international, collaborating economy all companies live in now. I applaud Triumph's efforts and will be first in line to get an off road model. The whole it's a black KTM is as stale as week old bread and about as easy to stomach. Why can't we be happy another great brand is building dirt bikes? This is why we lose trails and tracks, we eat our own, we do not support our own sport like ATV, Snowmobile, Equestrian, or Mnt Bike riders. Dirt bike riders shit on anything new, SMX, WSX, Triumph, the Chinese, and Ducati's new entries, absolutely anything new. And refuse to organize or unify to further our interests. What a bunch of meat heads. This sport's participants better wake up and be positive about any steps forward or new players, we need them for survival.

I think it looks really good...  And add me to the list that hopes they have off-road models that include a 350.

It's just one idiotic poster that keeps repeating the black KTM shtick. Just ignore him.

If they add a 250 2 stroke to the line up, I would be so happy. Both the 450 and 250 look really good.

The “clapped out craigslist” effect of the black plastic went away very fast for me and now I think these are one of the better looking bikes out there. Black looks good on everything and it looks good on triumph. I love the neon yellow accents they went with also. Cant wait to see the new 450s hit the track.

No offense intended Grape Ape, sorry. Just an observation that bothers me about this sport.

Laughing at all the FB comments of people complaining that it doesn't come with trick aftermarket parts because they think this their version of a "factory edition".

Although slim I think triumph will be our only hope of another manufacturer building a 350.

Unfortunately, you're probably right...  I'd love to see them also source some 300 2T motors, like the Reiju maybe and build a 300 2T off-road model too.  I don't see any chance at all of a MFG developing a new 2T motor.

It's funny, but, this thing is getting awfully close to a "Factory Edition" for $10,995...isn't it?

But, hey, that's too logical! 🤣

I think it's $1500 cheaper than the KTM factory edition, 1600 cheaper than the Honda works edition, and 2600 cheaper than Kawasaki's SR.   But still getting up there in price.

Looks like a well spec'd bike. KYB, Brembo.... etc. Looks like a solid offering. I'll be very interested in a 350 off road model. I think they are going to do it. Yamaha could have ... should have... but so far nope.

Bring on the Ducati, everyone will want it.

Hmmm I was disappointed with the Ducati. Looked like a CRF but with a top heavy look to it, and that ugly front fender.

So why are they changing the naming scheme for the 450, anyone know? You would think it would be called the tf 450-x like the 250. Maybe the RC is a race edition like the works edition honda, ktm..etc. If not I think they should change the 250 to tf 250-rc to match the 450 or honestly just make em both  tf 250-r tf 450-r. The x at the end doesnt make a whole lot of sense with them planning to come out with enduro bikes, it would be better suited for those bikes. Maybe this is the first sign of a change coming to the naming scheme?

The ‘x’ (‘cross’) doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for a motoCROSS bike no??

Wouldn’t you think the enduro model might be best named TF250-E??

What about Husqvarna?

FC- Four stroke ‘cross’

FE- Four stroke ‘enduro’.

Makes perfect sense to me tbh.

I am pretty sure they borrowed the airbox cover from a 1984 RM250 (all else looks nice):

These bike models meant to gargle some ex pro's nuts are lame, just call it a works edition or factory edition.
