Last Friday at Pala there was a crew from Kawasaki all riding bikes with Anderson plates on them but there was atleast one in particular that was covered in black tape that I saw a couple different riders on. Didn’t look too close as I just figured they were 25’s. Could have been SR’s or not…

Those were 2025 KX250s they were breaking in for the intro in about two weeks.
Yes, there will be 2025 SRs. I'm 95% sure there is not only a 450 SR, but a 250 SR this year. They will be 2025 models.

I am curious to see what Showa forks actually wind up on the 250.
The initial press release every media outlet posted stated they’d have 48mm Showas, and now the Kawasaki website says 49mm. Doesn’t change my life either way, just curious.

49mm. The initial report of 48 was incorrect. Kawi sight now lists 49.

I was planning on holding out for the ‘25 KX250, but the rebates have been sooooo tempting on the ‘24 KX450.
This announcement would throw a HUGE wrench in those plans & motivate me to hold out for the 250SR in all its glory!
I was in the same boat, waiting for a 25 250 but $6999 for a 24 450 was enough to sway me.
Can I just say, I think its amazing how good these computer renders are, but holy cow Kawi can we get some appropriate hose clamps on the $14k dirt bike
Yes, a new SR is in the works.
As a 2025 model?
I don't know. I was just told that a new SR was going to be available.
25’ SR could be a great look with Prado and Anderson at the helm!

Re-release of the 89 model
Michael, you are usually spot on with predictions. At least you gave yourself a 5% exit.
Any hopes of kyb on the 250SR?
I would be surprised. Kawasaki is full Showa now.

Don't hold your breath on a 250SR...
Yeah I might be off on that one.

Is there a set time for this?
9EST I believe.
My sales manager just showed me the sheet on new releases. No 250 SR but definitely the 450 pictured above is what I just saw too.

Looks like an awesome package.
And review of the kx250 ? Already on sale and no press reviews...they are marketting genius...
Flying out today to go ride it. They had a delay on the shipments with the bike.

Amazing, the thing that makes the most difference is not coming with the stock muffler.
