I absolutely hate gambling and the expansion of it into more and more things, but my biggest gripe with it in SMX is there is no rule that athletes need to disclose injuries like there is in other sports that allow gambling. So basically, the industry insiders have a huge advantage where money can be made. I don't know if there’s a law against such what you could call "insider gambling" like there is insider trading but there should be in my opinion. 2/21/2026 8:01pm So technically, Brown would still “win” the races but not have the points that go with it. Where this is really effed up is Supercross is now allowing betting. So if I had money on Shimoda and he technically finished second, I’m out money. For that reason alone, they need to reinstate the position penalty. I mean… they’re always advertising...

Am I the only one who’s glad he didn’t win the SMX championship simply because the purple background with yellow numbers is fugly?! I know we’ll still see it on Jo’s bike but there’s something beautiful about a #1 plate in black and white.

10/2/2025 10:04am Did you ever find out what caused the issue? I'm dealing with the same thing on my 2019 KX450. Dies randomly on landing when I land on the gas but then fires right back up. I thought it was the fuel pump at first but I replaced it and still have the same issue.
