Max is young and showed improvement at A1. Can't remember if we saw him in another dry race after that or if we even saw him after SD. I think it'd be worth giving him a one year extension if they weren't already sort of full. I wouldn't pass up Masterpool for him though. However I truly don't understand why Forker and Mcadoo have contracts. Litterally hurt every year.
100% agree. Signing Marchbanks in the middle of the SX season is another head-scratching signing. Like why would you sign him up so early, i doubt there was a line of factory teams outside his door waiting to sign him to a factory 250 deal?
Ty and Deegan left nothing out there in moto1 and it was fantastic to watch.
I’m not sure why anyone would sign marchbanks to a 250 deal. He’s simply too big for the 250, where horsepower is king. He’s 180-185#. Racing guys that are 130-150 he’s giving up a lot on power to weight ratio.

No way Mitch is going to let anyone steal away the Golden Goose.
MacAdoo and Forkner can't last more than a few races sorry to say. We can work with speed deal with them.
He has a ton of potential so they wanted to lock him down. Also he was being looked at by multiple teams. Marchbanks was a good sign
It’s hard to disagree with a lot of what is being said , but PC was pretty solidly leading both 250 coasts this season until they tangled with each other at the shootout.
im not sure if that helps prove PC isn’t that far off of success or if it proves exactly what’s being said because they crashed and ruined both PC’s title fights in an instant.
See how it plays out the second time around but I won’t have him as a title contender. He’ll struggle to get starts on a 250 because of his size.
Good point here, they were leading both coasts until McAdoo made his normal bad decisions.
Bad decision in practice that put him in harms way and then in the main he F's over his teammate cross jumping into him.
Sorry not trying to hate on Cameron, great dude but he has a history of crashes and injuries that I don't think he will shake overnight even though he is fast. I'll eat crow if I have to someday, no worries.
I don’t think he’s done winning motos this year. He’ll compete for a podium at Millville. He’s good there. Deegs is going to smoke everyone at Washougal. But then Unadilla, Budds, and Ironman are rut heavy tracks where he’ll be in the mix as Deegan looks to lock down a title.
I don’t get it at all with pro circuit. Why do they have hammaker still? Why are they signing Marchbanks? Must be because Mitch just likes the kids, because their results don’t justify them getting those rides. You wanna tell me we’re keeping Fork and Mac because of the upside potential then fine, but Seth and Garrett are never winning more than a fluke main event in the best case scenario.
Theyre roster next year should be Ty, Kitchen, Fork, Mac, and Adams. Then you keep an eye out for another potential fill in. But I really don’t think Mitch is as motivated to win these days he’d rather just help kids that he personally likes, kinda like Bill Belichick at the end.
ML, Just out of curiosity since you have been around a while. If he can become a 5 - 10 250 guy indoors and a race winner top 3 in the championship outdoors will factories want that? I know a lot more weight is put on supercross but the kid is talented and it's hard to think he can't get up to a 5 to 10 indoor guy.
Mitch would be making a huge mistake not signing him. He's the best rider on the team right now. Better than Forkner too, because he doesn't crash his brains out every time he rides..
I dont get the downvotes, i agree with you.
Kitchen will obviously be in the fight for a 250 SX title next year but none of the other riders will be title favorites in any classes. And most of them are some of the most injury prone riders there is.
Masterpool brings to the team something that nobody else on the team can bring (except Kitchen, but Masterpool is better than him outdoors). Winning outdoor races and contending for the outdoor title.
If PC is in this to trying to win races and titles they sign Masterpool.
Masterpool is a Godsend to a team that has lost its direction for a few years now. If they can't find a way to keep him, they deserve their ongoing inconsistencies. Does anyone really think Marchbanks can contend for championships, let alone wins? Or Hammaker? Or Vohland?
I’ve ridden with Kent and his son Derek a lot back in 05-08 out at Cycle Ranch Mx near San Antonio. His son Derek was insanely fast
He deserves to land somewhere with good equipment, he is the best outdoor rider on PC kawi at the moment.
Pit Row
Huge fan of Ty. But I do think Marchbanks can contend like Ty outdoors if he is at a decent weight and factory bike. Ty and him were around each other often last year outdoors. I think they have similar upside and each have had success as a privateer and won on a factory bike. So no issues with his offer.
But we know who Forkner, Macadoo, and Seth are. They have speed, can win, but will line up for an at best 40 percent of the season.
Ty is a legitimate 250 outdoor title threat on the right team in 2025. The talk of him landing at Club in Marchbanks seat or another tier 2 team is insanity at this point.
The only way he doesn’t end up on PC is if Triumph backs up the truck. I’d take Ty over Jalek and Maximus for sure.
4 downvotes from the Forkner fans...
Here's the facts BRO: Ty has 2 moto wins and 1 overall this season, so far. Forkner has barely been healthy enough to even race a full outdoor series his whole career. He's won 3 motos total. 2 in 2016, and 1 in 2018. Ty most certainly is more valuable than Forkner. Not even a close comparison.
You again! You will probably get 0 likes like usual!!! NOBODY listens to you horrible recommendations!!!
I never agree with rosso but he’s correct here. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
signing up your kid, ham maker and mcadoo year after year is the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.
Mathes said today Levi, Cameron, Seth, Garret and Forkner. That's 5 w/o Adams or Tye.
I had a feeling Mitch wouldn't keep Ty on. Like someone said earlier, with this kind of decision making the team deserves all the "bad luck" it gets.
Adam’s won’t be on the team until after LLs.
Seems like Mitch likes hard workers/underdogs but then he passes on Ty?? Yeah Forkner/Cam have the SX upside but how many seasons are you going to give them? Heck if Ty was willing to ride over his head like Cam I’m sure he would be up front in SX also…
I bet they find a way to sign Ty for 2025. How in the world can they let him go? He's the best they have.
Unless Kawasaki is considering him for a 450 ride.
Well it’s pretty much a guarantee someone on PC will be injured during or before SX. I’m shocked Mitch went back to the well with Marchbanks, and as Matthes said if he could have a do over on that signing maybe he would have waited after seeing how Ty has been riding. Just sucks for Ty being so uncertain. And there’s really only 3 teams in 250’s that seem to have there shit together, kawi, Yamaha, and Honda. Honda is obviously not a possibility. Star maybe but it sounds like things didn’t end well there and Kawi. Hopefully he’s not left in the lurch.
PC may have already spent their budget for next year, but considering how good Masterpool is making their bikes look, Kawasaki would be foolish to not fund Masterpool for 2025, 2026.
From our perspective yes but not to the bean counters, race teams are the equivalent of lighting money on fire. I’ve never bought the win on Sunday/ sell on Monday theory. I haven’t been seeing noticeably more Hondas on the track since Jett started winning a lot. It might be true for gear or hard parts so people can feel like Jett or whatever but I’m not sure it influences bike sales a whole lot. @ML512 are there any metrics to support or refute this?
interestingly Paul P said when he was a mechanic for PC, kawi only covered salary of 4 riders. So if Mitch wanted a 5th it came out of his pocket.
I dunno it’s just a shitty situation for Ty if he doesn’t end up with a good factory ride.
