Are Team Honda on the 25 bikes this weekend?
Anyone see when they’ll be available?
Pretty cool they got the 250 and 450 both updated. Certainly going to get the 250WE when my current Honda 250 gets beat up enough to justify a new one.
Good to see they stiffened up the chassis, can’t wait to ride one.
They have to be for sale, so no not till August. It’s rare to do this unless the new bike is way better. RV did it with a few races left one time.

Ah I see it now!
maybe it’s just me but it looks like the shrouds were an after thought… i’m sure it will grow on me (it usually does) as the rest is pretty sweet!
Forks have new "A-kit inspired bending control valves"???! Are they blowing smoke up our a$$'s and just tweaked a few shims in the forks?
Delta shims?
The Honda were the best looking bikes since 2017. Not any more looks like.
It's so bad. Maybe it's amplified by the fact that the previous gen is one of the most beautiful bikes ever. How did the 250 gain 5lbs?!
Pirellis to Dunlops.
Yeah, I just don’t understand the reasoning behind adding weight to a new model. I don’t understand it with the ‘24 KX450 gaining 5lbs, much less a 250 gaining 5lbs. Smh
(I haven’t even talked about the Austrian 2 strokes gaining about 10lbs, after FI)
Does the 250WE come with a 2.15 rear, or did they just slap the larger tire on there?
Paging our man joshracing to talk about people talking about plastics on a new bike 👍
Looks cool and sounds like they've ironed out some of the unpredictable traits people disliked from the 'old' bike? Should be a solid offering.
I wonder when the extra weight comes from? In the KX450, it sounds like the majority if the weight was in the muffler and used to detune it slightly. With the CRF? It’s not that big of a deal, just a little perplexing.
Thinking the standard crf250 has the pirelli 100/90/19 and the wre has the Dunlop 110/90/19, at least that’s how I read it.
The pics of the standard bike rear tire definitely look like a thinner tire. The wre has the Dunlop 110/90/19 shown on the sidewall of the tire.
Shows later this year.
I thought I read July but I could have dreamed it too.
Pit Row
Spoke to a few local dealerships up here. Looks like eta is for July. Works won’t be available till Septemberish. Really curious to see what the thoughts are on the 250. Tempted to sell my 23 and scoop one of these up.
Honda website says August on the CRF450F.
I was thinking about flipping my 23 Honda until I looked at some of the prices on Facebook marketplace. Not exactly a sellers market. A couple of 23’s with really low hours 6500. I think another was marked down to 6300 and it was really low hours if I recall. Adds looked legit too but never know.
I may throw a Luxon adjustable triple clamp on my 23 250, call it good and hang on to it. Then look for a deal on 24/25 red, green or Beta 450. Heck my wife and I were eating Mexican food and drinking happy hour Margarita this afternoon. I was talking about having to make room in the garage to work on my 2 dr Tahoe I’m restoring. She didn’t even know how many dirt bikes I had. She thought I had three bikes in the garage and one at the lake. I made the mistake of telling her I only had two in the garage and one at the lake house. I sold one, down to three. Dang happy hour Margaritas!!!
Yeah I’m in a similar boat. I have my 23 pretty dialed but, it’s just getting up there in hours has 60 on it now and the market sucks for selling. Just not sure if I should hold on to it or just sell it for 5-6k and jump to the 25
It’s a hard decision when when ya pay 9-10 grand for a scooter. Then a year and half later flip it for just north of half that. 60 hours or not, dialed in I’d throw a piston at it if needed and ride another year. See what the 25 Honda’s are really all about.
I just recently got my 23 to where I like riding it. I disliked to the point after a couple times out I parked it for dang near a year and rode my old YZF and bought something else. In my Honda’s defense a car wreck and sore knee had me sidelined for 6 of those months. I hope the 25’s aren’t so picky.
Yeah I did a top end over the winter. May list it for sale in the spring depending on how the 25 is received. I’d hate to be in the same position again, I love the Honda now but it did take some effort and money to get it sorted. So I’m hoping this new one has a slightly better “base” to work with.
I sold my 2022 250 for $6500. Powerflow kit, new tires, grips, chain, super clean with 40 hours, in March. My guess is selling a similar 2024 in late 2024 or early 2025, you'd be happy to take $6000 with a new generation out.
Any words on when the press launch is? Very curious for the riding impressions!
I saw the 2025 CRF450R in the Honda pits at the Hangtown National and it looks a lot better in person.
it definitely looks better in person. this was at teutschenthal, but they didn't display the bike in the pit area...
It honestly looks hideous especially with that enduro tank.
My thoughts exactly.. I just listed mine for $6500 so we will see.
