Can chase win 6 more motos this year?

If he wins 5 more, and Jett finishes second in all of them, and Jett wins the other 13 with chase finishing second in all of them, they would be tied in points. If chase can win 6 more and finish second in the rest, he controls the championship.

Lot of hypothetical in there for sure, but puts in perspective what each of them have to do after this big shakeup.

Let`s wait and see damage Jett got. He`s injured for sure. Question is- how bad.

Just hope Sexy gets a holy a time or two.

Rather than starting 10th

He won’t. He hasn’t pushed yet. There may have been times where he’s ridden 75 maybe 80%.

Maybe if he would have pushed 10 or 15% more he would have made the triple

Sexton's rip from last to first is up there with RC's lapping the entire field in that mud race.

That had to be incredibly fun. Damn what a moment for Chase, if he can keep the momentum going we are in for a hell of a season. If we don’t see that again, well that was an absolute privilege.

When he took his helmet off after race, I was like wtf… Did this guy just raced wide open 35min or did some 5min practice.

That was sooo impressive, congrats Chase. Words can't do that race justice. We have a hoss race now ladies and gents. The confidence coming from this race will give Jett and the rest fits from this point forward.

it reminded me of Toronto 2014 with JS7 just blasting through people in front of him. SUPERB race, and agree with the others that it made me smile when he took his helmet off and looked almost dazed - that was the look of a man who was so focused he barely knew what was going on outside of the track. AMAZING ride.

That’s the same thing i notice with haiden, he doesn’t even look all that tired after the motos. Impressive is an understatement, especially for chase.

So my question is, does he still switch to Yamaha?

We just rewatched the moto…. I’m 60 and began riding at 5 and racing at 8.  So in my 52 years of a fan of the sport I can say that is the most impressive race I’ve ever seen.

Same generation 57 started at 4, have witnessed the great ones first hand. Have watched great ones on the tube and sat there with complete awe as Chase chewed up the track.

He never was out of control, bike went exactly where he wanted it to be. The rear end is going to dance but controlled. That is the greatest ride of all time.

That even is better than Ricky lapping the field.

Well damn, everyone's said it better than I can...

I sat down with some breakfast to watch the races, watched Moto 1, stoked for Chase, bummed for Jett, good race...

I never expected to see something as insanely good as Moto 2 turned out to be. No words.

Right now today, no one on the track is in the shape CS4 is in.  and no one is as strong.  The kid right now has it handled, the way he was moving that bike that whole moto was insane and at the same time very controlled.

He has put in his time, so very much looking forward to the next rounds.  It's going to be fun to watch!

Now will get some crap for this statement but there is a reason a past "4" has his opinion..........he knows this "4" can be just as good or better.  I am biased of course but there it is.

James couldn’t praise Chase’s ride enough. When the former FMOTP is singing your praises, the rest is gravy…. BTW, have we all forgotten that he had multiple epic MX battles with Tomac in 22’ ! Anyone who has payed attention knows Sexton is a Baaaad MF.

Just re-watched the last 10 minutes...

When the clock hit 00, Chase was still in 3rd and 6.6 seconds down to AP.  Those last 2.5 laps were nearly unprecedented.

With like 10-12 minutes to go, I wanted to tell ap to SPRINT because it looked more and more like Chase could get him.

especially when you’re out front you’re managing the lead to second so you aren’t necessarily going 100%. Almost reminded me of the Savatgy / Osborne situation.

I literally said to the mrs "he can't get AP, can he?", just thinking out loud about how crazy a proposition it was.

How could he make up so much time in the closing laps? Of the second moto no less, and after putting in sooo much work already to get himself to that point? Even if he miraculously caught AP, how could he conjure up the energy to put a clean move on him AND make it stick? It'd be mind boggling...

Then he went and did exactly that 😂

To top it off, when he pulled up a chair afterwards, he looked like he'd just been out for a few practice laps with the boys 🤯

AP had nothing left in the tank, no way was he turning it up to hold Sexton off regardless of whether he got the signal or not

Ok Chase road great. He earned it today, but are we really not going to talk about the fact he almost ate shit like 15 times?  You can’t ride like that every weekend.

After he went down i think he flicked the "fuck it" switch and went for it without any regard for human life, he was either going to win or kill himself trying.

So fucking awesome to watch!
