Damn, he earned that one. What a crazy main...

And he is such a class act.....

Showed his true character when his engine blew earlier in the season, and as disappointed as he was, still thanked everybody.

Great to see all their work pay off and him get a win.

And no mud splat asterisk on this one.

Straight up beat them on a tough track.

Would love to see him pull a holeshot at slc in the main.

My wife teases me because I root for him😂 Right before the main I said his starts are why he isn’t winning, come on max and nail this start.
Awesome ride👍🏻

I remember racing a LLQ at Comp Edge in 2007 and Anstie was racing on a KX85 with all green gear (either ProGrip or UFO gear) and he was hauling ass. He was probably 12 or 13 at the time, a year later he was racing in the states for that Orange Brigade team (badass KTM/Alloy gear combo). It's good to see him still competitive in a class with so much young talent after having a lengthy career overseas, very similar to Osborne's career.

Do we know if Anstie is racing outdoors? 450 class? I'd imagine he would be consistent podium threat on a good program.

Last night ride was one of the best we have seen him along with his mxdn win at Matterley in 2017

I will set aside all of my snark and distaste for Brits in general, to state my unwavering support of Anstie.  The mechanical, derailing his season, was truly heartbreaking.

He said it was a tough week for the team and he was happy to give them a win. I wonder if he broke the news that he wouldn’t be re-signing.

What are you implying?  Spill it.

It would be appropriate for him to sign with Triumph.

That guy has such a jolly good attitude, even when shit goes south. I love it every time he wins and is interviewed.

He said in the press conference that Yarives dad had died recently.

I don’t know why people hate on him for his podium interviews. He isn’t a robot that just thanks sponsors and god. It’s a breath of fresh air to me

Makes you wonder where he’d be in the chase without that DNF from the engine failure.

Was so fun to see him win, he was on rails!

He is single handedly keeping British riders relevant on the world stage.

He ripped on that 85.

I am pumped for Max and the team. What a great win for everyone involved. Two wins in two years is pretty impressive for a privateer rider and team. Huge props and I hope if the rumors of Max to star are true; they can reload the deck. I’m quite the fan of Party Marty and the bunch and with Max and Dean potentially moving on, I am curious to see who they come back with next year.

That being said, if Max is going to Star, he’s going to be a title threat and win multiple races. I also can’t wait to see him at Southwick on that 250f. Outdoors has missed him the last two years.

Anstie said yesterday he won't be racing the great outdoors this year.

He isnt. He is the UK version of J Mart.

I am a fan, but i cant whoop and holler for him when i criticise others for being in the wrong class.

That said, it was a great ride, and he is a genuinely likeable guy, but he should be on a 450, and nothing will convince me otherwise.

He took the best option he could once he had barely any rides in the GP's. I think he would love to ride the 450 again as well, maybe he will do outdoors?

Would you ride in a stacked class for little to no money or take a paid ride and earn a living? He's only doing what's right for him and his family.
