Whatever it was it looked like it hurt like hell. That kind of snap in the neck would have 90% of Americans out of work for months.

Either way, they should have stopped him after the crash and looked him over, lucky he didn't hurt someone else.

That was a hard freaking hit!  He sure acted like he was concussed.  Whether he was or wasn't, I hope he's alright.

Moto “journalists”

It's a contradiction in terms.

The concussion rule...

Alpinestars was on the scene quickly...

They may not have seen any signs of concussion.

Jordon Smith posted  on insta– Well not the night we wanted clearly. Everything was going good until it wasn’t. Got cross rutted and came up short on the triple in the rhythm section. Knocked the breath of myself the worst I have ever had. Couldn’t breathe for about 30 seconds and when I got back on my bike the bars were really twisted and was extremely hard to ride in the ruts to finish the race. The alplinestars medical team pulled me in after the race to check for concussion symptoms even though I didn’t feel like I hit my head at all. I know it looked like I possibly hit my head during the crash but my stomach and chest took the whole impact. I passed the concussion testing with no sypmtons at all. All I can say is I’m happy I’m healthy enough to go race next weekend. Racing has some serious ups and downs and this is just a small bump in the road. I will always give it everything I’ve got while on the track and try to do the best I can for myself and my team. Thanks to everyone that supports me we will be back.

Black flag is almost exclusively reserved for bad conduct. The powers that be don't really want to raise any additional awareness to the concussion problem in the sport, other than pretending like they solved it by making them solve puzzles in an online test or something.

You could argue it's bad conduct to cut across a rhythm lane without looking to see if any traffic is coming through.

He's lucky no one landed on him.

I haven’t watched the replay yet, but it looked like he almost took RJ out on his second crash.

Watching the replay you could tell by his body language and demeanor he wasn’t right. I’m sorry but someone should’ve made the call to black flag him imo. Looked like James at Daytona years ago.

lol, yeah he for sure would’ve told us on instagram if he felt he rung his bell. Especially since X and this place have multiple mentions of it.  Also like how he said they checked him AFTER the race and not while they briefly check on him at the FIRST crash

Explanation tracks to me. I'm sure his heart rate went through the roof, bent bars, and just general freaking/spazzing out could make him ride like that. Now will anyone accept it after going all in on concussion? It's possible it's a big cover up, but seems a lot less likely now.

Now you're hanging on the assumptions that 1. Felds "concussion testing" is conclusive. And 2. He's telling the truth about having no symptoms.

I'm the one making assumptions...now that's laughable in this thread of couch doctors....do you wear your tinfoil hat out in public much?

While watching from my couch I told my wife "they need to get that guy off the track". Concussed, I don't know. But he definately wasn't thinking clearly.

Between the 2 sections pretty much butted together, where was there a line that he could have ridden to get back on the track in a safer location?

He really had no choice on where to reenter the track.

I thought they were going to throw the Red flag due to that location.

Damage control. It's not like there is a stigma around head injuries in sport or anything. Notice how he goes out of his way explain no actually it's his chest that almost ripped the bar pad off.

He'll decline from here for the rest of the season.

If we hear pandemic in a "do as you're told" context and whatnot while we're reading about badass moto shit, it's political enough to not want to see it 😂

Not saying you're wrong, about anything, but I can't argue with disbandeds vote for non-moto 👍

No offense man, but it's clear you spend a large chunk of your free time on Parler or some other political sites and it consumes your every thought. It can be easy to get sucked into the constant barrage of propaganda, "news" etc. presented online, but I implore you to try and break away. Every time you think about clicking on that next "article" just put your phone in your pocket and go outside, play with your dog or your kid. There's so much more to life than doomscrolling political crap thats created solely for your clicks. It's all garbage. Youll find life is not as bad or whatever as these publishers want you to believe and honestly 99.999% of what they talk about has 0 affect on your life, unless you keep doomscrolling. What does affect you is the time wasted sifting through their nonsense. I've been sucked into that crap before. As soon as I broke away from it my mental health improved greatly.

We need a list of former user names that have gone off the deep end, I can't remember the names but some repeat styles ring a bell, there was some guy who lost his mind a year or so ago that brought up mental illnesses a lot that gives me the same weirdo vibes.
