The Pulp review pod is definitely dropping in quality. It's still great, but it does feel like they assume that the listeners are tuning in to get an update on their lives when we're actually tuning in to hear their thoughts on the racing. The Vital review show is my fist pick these days. I also like the Title 24 podcast. RC has a weird style, complementing everything Villopoto says like he's spouting some incredible wisdom every time he speaks, but I really like hearing their takes on the racing.
I found this weeks review hilarious. JT's comment about Steve "morphing into Bob Costas," just from putting on an alpinestars jacket made me full on Weege laugh. I appreciate that "we" get to be small part of the banter that goes on in the 100 group texts these industry personalities are part of. Plenty of racing talk as well, so no complaints from me.

He definitely holds back. I think he has something cooking. Steve has mentioned a few times why is he riding so much and what color were you riding. Curious if he has something in the works with a new Manufacturer.
I love that Weedge and JT got a shot at the TV and they both are doing their work great but I also noticed that in recent weeks review pods aren't as in depth as they used to and their casual talk about who was at the press box etc. was way too long.

Yeah the point about not trying to show Jett more than any other rider is pretty unbelievable. How stupid do they think their audience is?
Jetts EVERY move is covered throughout the night, even showing him picking his gate WHILE a 250 main is on the track. Meanwhile JT, Weege, and Steve have NO CLUE why Sexton got 11th in a main.
The defending champion is outside the top ten and nobody knows why, it's not even talked about on the live show, but we know what gate Jett picked. Makes sense.
The podcast from last week was 17 minutes of BS before they got to the racing. I skipped past it all. I just wanted to hear what they said about AP and Jett-a-prompterGate.
I listened to Pulp since the beginning, but there is too much back and forth banter now. Originally, Steve spoke his mind and wasn’t afraid of what Feld or the riders thought. Now that he has his hands in so many cookie jars, he gives us boring neutered opinions that are so bland that they offer nothing to debate. That is why he is forced to debate a jacket to fill time. Recently I have enjoyed Stewart’s podcast for his observations on rider techniques. I listened to DV’s podcast for the first time last week. He has the NFG attitude Steve had prior to selling out, and I sure hope he keeps it up!
The show as a whole has gotten a lot less enjoyable, at least to me. Every week the same inside jokes and conversations, weege’s love affair with brayton, Phil being grumpy etc etc. The stuff is no longer funny IMO.
Bubba's podcast is awesome. He doesn't hold back and he's breakdown of rider's mentality is next level.

I’m in the camp of none of this stuff is all that serious so I still enjoy listening to the show. Plenty of pods to listen to so I’m sure there’s one out there to fill your cup if this one isn’t your cup of tea.

JT has been obnoxiously and unabashedly Team Lawrence since the outdoor season. It's ridiculous how biased he's become, to the point where he's saying other riders should pull over for Jett. It's embarrassing
I think that if Anderson was riding like he was this week, JT would not have said that. But last week Jett was clearly faster and Anderson has not seemed like he wanted to go for the title the past few years. Getting into a spat with Mookie that killed their seasons and then last year was not great. I guess that could have been the other stuff he had going on. But until this last race, Jason did not look like he was going to be one of the guys in the fight. If Jason was riding like he was at the last race, I bet that JT would not have said that. But back at that race, Jett was clearly going much faster. So I do not see it as a horrible opinion. RC has said that some days You have it and somedays You have to settle for what You can get. Letting Jett by and watching his lines ,seeing how he made up so much time. Might have helped them both move forward. Instead You have what happened.
There're some validity that some of the scoops of the racing have fallen off because Weege and JT have to be focused on the broadcast screen for their roles, leaving only Steve to watch what's happening away from them.
But I still love the pod and the banter between those three.
I love most of the Pulp content, and for context for those bashing the jacket talk, it started at 14 minutes in to the review show and was done by the 23 minute mark when they started the official race review. Definitely not over done. I like the banter back and forth, as it reminds me of the way I interact with my buddies at the races!
As for the sellout talk, Weege and JT aren't going to blow out their employer, they've worked too hard to get where they are now. No one here would do any different. I also don't find them over-the-top biased either, in a way that makes me cringe. I know they all work for RacerX, or NBC/Peacock, and Yamaha is a huge sponsor. I just like what they bring to the show each week and am glad they put all this out there for us to enjoy!
JT censors himself all the time now. I do think it’s because he is on TV more regularly and is doing his best to keep curse words out of his daily vernacular so he doesn’t slip up on the broadcast. You can definitely tell he bites his tongue on certain topics. Except when Friese is mentioned 😂
I can't help but think of what must be going through Jetts head right now and he is probably very confused. " Wow mate, these Americans sure are a tough crowd"!

I think it is kinda obvious Steve is jealous of jt and weege for them getting opportunity’s with tv stuff and him getting nothing. but I do enjoy them talking about things going on at the races non racing wise. The jacket thing is annoying tho lol
