He didn’t pass anyone. I’m confused why he was docked this time and the slew of riders intentionally cutting the whoops in the mud in previous rounds got nothing.
He gained time, and didn’t ride slow off the track , the penalty is number of positions gained plus 1

No he’s definitely been guilty of it multiple times. I’m not saying the penalty isn’t warranted. I’m more so saying he’s been under a microscope the last few seasons. The AMA is very strange how they handle penalties.
It's not the first time he's been penalized for the same thing.
He should’ve just gotten back on the track before the whoops and blitzed them. Could’ve gone fast and not gotten a penalty. Too many riders are skipping parts of the track just because it’s easier to do so. I was rooting for Jason to win tonight but you can’t just ride around the side of the track because you fell over.
I heard he was scared Jett was gonna pass him and high tailed it out of there like the soft voiced puss he is.
Have you seen the results? Looks like Ando had the Jett’s covered, even with the penalty. Not sure I’d call him a soft voiced puss. That result speaks pretty loud. (Old school) Just sayin’

I would argue that the relative speed that Hunter went by the whoops vs his normal speed, compared to Jason vs his normal speed, in those whoops that Hunter benefited more than Jason. Also Hunter did it more than once. If you put a stopwatch comparing the speed, and sorry you can’t count the time Hunter was in the ground…that’s on him, Hunter gained more relative time…..but AMA doesn’t care and neither do the Lawrence fan boys. btw…imo…Jason should have got the penalty but so should have Hunter in SFO.

Ando was also penalised for track cutting just last week.

Anderson is just a fast version of Vince Friese. Right penalty, that was a bullshit move by him. He gained at least 2-3 seconds by doing that.

After so many of the same instances over his career the question has to be asked, is he a complete fucking idiot? Or just doesn’t care when it comes to going off the track. You would think he would know by now that crashing before or at the very beginning of a whoop section, does not give you permission to go around them completely when you get up. They would dock your ass in a video game for that shit too reminds me of mx vs atv
