We all know Jett is going to win awhile. Yet the sport is littered with early promises that never met their seemingly easy possible achievements, some still racing today. Let's hope he doesn't fall prey to all the temptations or setbacks that befall young stars of our sport. Rick Johnson said to 16 yr old Damon Bradshaw after he won the Japanese Supercross (paraphrase)," Everytime you place second now everyone will ask you what's wrong."

Great post

I don’t think he will ever win another race. His time has come and gone.

I heard HRC tore up his contract and used it to start a warming fire Saturday night

Clearly Jett is a MX Specialist

100% win record on a 450 in American motocross

Sitting at only 25% in AMA 450SX, (Heats and Mains) has not even won a heat race yet!

Clearly SX is not his thing.

After this poor showing, I predict at the end of this season he will sign on for 2 years with WSX, then race the Australian SX series for a couple more seasons.

Very similar to JB10. The writing is on the wall.

RC and Duff man were instructed not to Notice that the cash cow was getting lapped by his biggest rival. because you know, RC would be talking about "confidence" and "statement ride" on behalf of sextons if RC wasn't worried about losing his seat to James Bubba Stewart and his Dreads (tm).

RC should be worried about losing his job to anyone who can conduct two legible statements together.

I gotta say I've gotten masterful at just zoning out the announcing. I barely noticed RC Saturday night and I'm seeing a lot of comments about him

I have stated it before RC, as great a rider as he was, makes our sport look bush league with his mush mouth announcing. That and the manufactured stats.

Jett's obviously really good when the track is really good. Mud is obviously no bueno.

I said this same thing. Probably the worst thing he could've done was go undefeated outdoors.. Now all the hype has built to Stewart, Alessi type levels. So when he doesn't win they'll ask "wtf is going on with you?"..

Hahah.   I was pretty surprised it wasn’t taken as a joke by many.  Maybe they didn’t read the post?

Jett did quite well in jersey last year didn’t he?  I recall Hampshire slip and sliding into him trying to beat him (I think Jett got 2nd)?

Will promoters start over watering tracks, to level the playing field?

He's done. Probably couldn't even win an arenacross anymore.

He’s about to be on the state fair arena cross tour.
