Using the word “obviously” to describe things that aren’t so obvious. I’ve heard it overused in a lot of moto interviews

If you are 6’3 220 the stock forks will be soft if ridinf at an A level. I’m 6’3 195 and would call myself a vet A rider and had my revalved and resprung by Pro Circuit and they are great. I’m running a .53 fork spring I believe. You can change the springs ... more »

I’m 6’3” and have lowered the pegs. Can’t say I notice much difference, but at my height figure it can’t hurt! It’s only 5mm.

Regarding the judder spring mod I’ve ridden it both ways and don’t think it’s necessary, but others may have different opinions.

It’s great bone stock. But make sure the steering head bearings are greased. Had to replace mine at the 2.5 year mark. If you are heavier or faster or both the stock forks will be a bit soft. I’m running .53 springs in mine and 350 ml of oil and a revalve. ... more »

In my haste last night think I had a bit of a brain fart. Stepped away and revisited today and all good now. Thanks!

I’m running the PC axle blocks not sure if that’s part of the problem? I will revisit again today and see if I can get the chain length thing corrected.

Has anyone tried a 49 tooth rear sprocket on this bike? Wanted to try to make 2nd gear longer and faster. I’m having a hell of a time with the chain length. Put a new Chain on and cut too long then cut it too short. Not sure what going on as I only removed ... more »

Yes. You can take the west side highway to escape north or the Lincoln tunnel to escape west (on the way to hood friend storage and the jersey turnpike). Keep in mind you get a nice welcome toll coming back into manhattan via any bridge or tunnel lol ... more »

I used good friend storage in north bergen. All indoors and didn’t worry. They have cameras everywhere. I think it’s totally safe. Never had an issue.

One place in jerz that could be a good compromise would be Hoboken or maybe jersey city by the water. If you get very far into jerz the commute to manhattan for ur wife will really suck. So it depends on that. If in manhattan the UWS is pretty easy to

Btw - if u live in southern Brooklyn it might be even easier to access E-town and Millville by crossing staten island, but it depends where in BK you live and where you store your bike. BK is a huge burough. My bike was stored in north bergen so always ... more »

Hi there - I just moved to Colorado, but lived in Manhattan for around 10 years plus 2 in Williamsburg. I will say it’s much easier to get to Jersey and upstate if you are not coming from Brooklyn or Long Island. It’s easier to escape from manhattan

I hear you. I have the 2019 KX 450 and love it. I rented a 2019 yz 450 in SoCal for a couple days. I enjoyed riding it. Great motor. Great suspension, bud did feel more porky and not as light and nimble as the kx. Stronger motor though even though I ... more »

How do u like going between your yz 450 and the KX 450? Thoughts on the differences?

I have tried all those and like around 2 or 3mm the best. I think I am running 2mm and like it. I found 5mm to oversteer in ruts and thought it was too much.

Anyone know what happened to Shane in the LCQ? Was really surprised he didn’t qualify out of that race! He seems to be a pretty highly skilled rider.
