I think Paul Malin has gotten nasty with most of the american accent anchors they tried to introduce. Maybe JT is the only tolerable guy
But they also saw a 2x MX2 champ (Vialle) get continuously passed by a 17 yr old rookie (Deegan)…So there’s that…
"Man if RJ can ride smart and keep it on 2 wheels" is a pure, condensed capsule of his entire racing career.
Vialle got beat a few times by his young team mate, Vohland, in the states too. Goes to show, pro racing is pretty competitive and circumstances and situations matter almost as much as rider skill. Tomorrow's race will demonstrate this undoubtedly.

Gotta be in it to win it. Last I heard all American Danger boy ducked out of the event!
That isn’t the real story..
But anyways go back, you must have mis-read the thread..That wasn’t the topic..
He works at fly racing right? Fly is a major sponsor To infront and MXGP. The fly racing 15 sec board goes up..
they used To put Jeff Emig in for This one for like 5 years in a row.
Yes it was
Glenn Coldenhoff is out of the MXON.
He sustained a concussion and a broken rib.
"if RJ can just ride smart and keep it on 2 wheels" = if pigs could fly...
I posted it hours ago... and then deleted it when I saw it was posted half an hour before...
Not a chance Prado stays ahead of Jett. And the qualifying position was up in the air in moto 1... Prado would have tried. Not to mention that now that points are paid in GP qualifiers, guys ride them with much more intensity than they used to.
so is the actual race commentary herein just been grafted into the "Saturday Qualifying" thread?
That’s just good business, if danger boy came over here and got spanked by a euro kid the same age his social media reliant empire would collapse and he’d be cancelled.
I’m a Jett believer…but, Prado ain’t a joke. I’ve made the mistake in the past of under-rating the Euros. After several ass whooping on their turf…? I’ve learned my lesson.
Things I’ve noticed…
Our riders were 4th fastest, as a team, when all 3 riders scores are considered.
Quite a few US MX/SX series riders are at the MXoN representing many of the fastest countries…4 of the Top 6 teams.
Riders like Vialle, The Lawrences & Roczen…go back to Europe and get right back to CRUSHING IT…which is a reminder to NOT let yourself be fooled into under-estimating the Europeans and the MXGP regulars.
Vialle's first year racinig USA was a HUGE success . . . no injuries and lots of experience! Passing Simon on the last lap gives us a glimpse of just how fast of a racer Tom is.
Team USA rode really well on Saturday and secured a great gate pick for Sunday; Mission accomplished for Saturday! I thought Christian had a perfect moto for his 1st race in months and months.
IF USA keeps up the good starts they could podium for sure
Ya mean like others did years prior, guess you forgot.
It is absolutely insane after seeing what we seen today to think a rider would bail out of this. There’s no excuses. It’s the pinnacle of the sport with the most fans and eyes on you. Shame on them and praise for RJ, Craig and AP.
Pit Row
What Haiden is doing this year is no different from what Gajser has to do most years. Just sit out of the event because his don't have teammates anywhere near the same quality and competency
Some like double standards,, kroc ferrandis, wilson musquin. Names. Ring a bell?
No it wasn’t- the reply was about being surprised that many folks choose USA as a favorite to win. One reason being, many US folks saw last years MX2 world champ get consistently beat by a rookie..
Mix in a water buddy. Wow
I’m glad our guys seem to have the start down, that’s half the battle right there! Though the other half is staying upright, which they showed us might be difficult to do tomorrow!
I think they have a shot at the final podium spot but will need some luck on their side for sure! Excited for tomorrow regardless! Glad we have a team to root for and it’s hard not to feel the energy from the crowd and the home team. You don’t have to be French to appreciate that!
Ferris was unlucky to hit a slick spot but then lucky to get away with it.
Lucky he landed on the downside of the jump.
Help please, what time should I be tuning in tomorrow? PST.
Yep coulda been way worse.. Maybe the shitty Aussie luck has shifted to the Canadians
If you go to the mxgp-tv site it should tell you what time the races are on in your time zone (You shouldn't need an account)
I watched the first two races but fell asleep before the open race. Saw the results with Ferris in 33rd but I read somewhere he was running in 3/4 place before he crashed? That’s encouraging if so.
