I disagree. I’ve been coming to Lommel for a few years now, and I’ve seen the amazing speed of Lucas and Kay in person, but the total domination I saw from Herlings Sunday was nothing short of incredible. His bike broke during Saturday qualifying twice, but he still managed fast time and a win despite the problems. His Sunday performance in the motos was Jett Lawrence x2- no active rider on this earth would have gotten near him, Lawrence’s or Coenen or Prado or even Tomac in his prime. Yes - but there was plenty of 'racing' shown among the others, to. Me - I can watch and enjoy a race, to see the lines, the way a bike works, the way the riders deal with 'things', explore different lines, have 'moments' that they deal with, successfully or unsuccessfully. I'm Never bored by racing - I think a casual viewer might have that reaction, or, someone wanting to slag a series, or riders, but to anyone Really into racing, there's always something to watch / be impressed with. Even when the racing is a runaway like Herlings, it’s so impressive seeing how fast those guys can go in those treacherous conditions. Shame De Wolf still isn’t 100% to offer more of a challenge in the sand, but the master still rules. MX2 was great racing as always and Stefan was um, interesting, in the booth.

Well that was a typical Lommel GP, guys who can ride well there are just a different level. McClellan showed the form he had early on in the year, and he isnt cutting his team mate any slack, if he could buy a start, he could still be a threat for the championship if Farres has a slip up. Coenen is out of it now, his mind is on SX already , very Impressed with Langenfelder, he seems to have recovered from his illness and is back on form JH did what everyone expected, and made everyone else look daft...

There is a reason Everts doesnt really have a place in the paddock any more, and today probably showed why. Awesome rider, one of, or possibly the best ever, but not a people person .

I think they have cooling problems in general. Probably to little oil flow or volume due to new engine size. Not a super easy fix being in the middle of racing season with Championship on the line. Every change needs to be guaranteed "Bullet proof" (😂) for 35+min in deep sand.
