Kawi team manager saying Sexton is not comfortable on the bike. Wasn't it that Sexton would be able to win or podium on any bike no matter what? Just ride around it. Specially with Jett out. Prado will not win this season unless riders start to fall off. He has what's needed on the right night but has also said he will under no circumstances ride over his head to go for a win and risk the season. You will need to push some to win in this field.

Dude just completed the 11th (?) Supercross event of his career. I don't know if he'll continue to improve at this pace, but what he's done so far is historic.

Sexton, one of the heavy title favourites, has 1 podium through 5 races. I know there is always a period of adaptation when changing brands but let’s not pretend it’s all rosy over there. So far on the Kawi Sexton is well below his usual standards too

I don’t think he’ll win SX either, but I disagree with outdoors. He’s a bad dude outdoors & if this version of Prado turns up healthy at Fox for Rd1, I think he’ll be in the conversation for a win most weekends. He’s gotta get one or two imo

I wonder how long people are going to dislike this guy because he quit the worst possible team to be on? Chase is a few races away from doing the same. He went from championship talks to hoping to be inside the top 5. Kawi sucks and Prado just didn’t give a shit and made it known.

Prado has been constantly beating Sexton in qualifying and racing all in the handful of SX races he's ridden. Can we just say the Kawi is a piece of doodoo?

I don't even understand why people constantly compare SX to his outdoor season where he was obviously mentally done already. He came into SX injured and then get injured again at the third round, he never even got a chance to prove himself there. Nobody knows how he would have done in SX. At least wait until summer to make comparisons.

You what’s hilarious too, even with all the “quitting” he was still 6th for the season on a bike and team that he clearly hated… and that same bike and team is still clearly struggling…

Honestly, no one’s opinion is wrong to have but for me I see it as a guy who did what he had to do to get out of a what? 3 year contract with Kawi. Neither Kawi or monster where letting him go. Had he truly tried to make it work and got subpar results I don’t think either company would let him happy. He took the extreme measures to get out of the contract, said screw what people think of me for it and bet on himself to get the KTM ride and get back to his MXGP winning...

40 top character 450 riders just got beat by a quitter with less time on supercross than 3/4 of the 250 riders… their characters much be really strong to get beat by such a quitter 😂😂😂

Some says that whoops arent big and i agree but the whoops are the same for all the riders on track. So no excuses...
