Yes. Told the dealer I'm going to reveal the down payment to them one dollar at a time over the course of 3 months.
I am first on the list locally at this dealer anyway, no info yet. May be a typical situation where we know online before they do. Sure hope not, expect to hear something soon. Some retail info would be welcome at this point.
I would check with a Triumph dealer.
Ha!

Talked to ours 2 weeks ago and they still had zero information. They were hoping for some information soon but may not be until November
I wonder what percentage of Triumph dealers already sell dirt bikes of another brand?
Are folks who buy these going to be stuck with dealers that only know and care about street bikes?
"My" dealer is a street/adventure dealership(BMW, Triumph, Can Am)... the guy said they were excited about it. May not be the case for all Triumph dealers though. I also wonder about what dealers will actually get one since numbers are limited.
Dealer we have in Tulsa is a long time Honda, KTM dealer they just lost KTM bringing in Triumph, Husky and Gas Gas.
Now that’s funny!
Surprised if they “lost” KTM they would pick up Husky and gas gas. Smaller KTM and another Husky dealer dropped them due to them requiring they buy a bunch of models they have a hard time sealing and requiring large parts inventories be purchased
I haven't heard anything from Hermey's, the local Triumph/BMW dealer, but I know they got burnt when BMW half-assed getting into dirt bikes a few years ago. Not to say Triumph is doing that but they were left hanging with a lot of inventory and shit with that deal.
I know my local dealer also sells Kawasaki. They also sell BMW street motorcycles.
I have 3 more Triumph dealers within a 2 hour drive.
One exclusively sells Triumph.
One sells Kawasaki as well as Piaggio and Vespa scooters.
One sells Husqvarna, GasGas, KTM, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, CF Moto, Aprilia, Indian, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, and Vespa.
Dealer I used to work for dropped Triumph back in 2009 due to having to buy an excessive amount of bikes/signage for the amount they sold
Yeah, I can see some hesitation with dealers. It is a new endeavour for many.
What comes first?....The Triumph or The Stark?
I have had a shitty week to be blunt.... But your comment, Sir, just made it all ok. I really needed that good of a laugh ..... Thank you! Feeling better now about whatever life throws me the rest of the week..............
Shits and giggles man
The best medicine
I mean, customers already have their hands on and are riding Starks. Different sales tactics, though. Plus it was never a race.
Pit Row
Vital should have a funniest comment of the week poll. Like a button that you click next to a post and at the end of the week, the comment with the highest tally wins. IMO this ^^^^ would be in the running for best response of 2023. Good job WarrenMX!!!!!
Honestly? I bet they'll ship Triumphs starting in December. And blow past the amount of Stark units shipped to date in a matter of 3 months.
My dealer is Yamaha, Beta, Suzuki and has also sold Triumph for years now. They are a good mix of street and dirt.
Kudos. I had no real interest in opening this topic, I'm glad I did.
I'm thinking they will need to open another dealer network in some situations, as the customer base will be very different.
Stark is doing pretty well. There are at least 4 in New Zealand, and we are the last place to get the cool shit. I bet we wont have a Triumph here until 25
Search shows two triumph dealers in the Houston area, one in Houston near downtown and one out west in Katy. I’m surprised at two. I was under the impression weren’t a lot of dealers in NA.
Som comparing a manufacture that's be around for over 100 years to one that just started a few years ago seems resonable.
I bet triumph will barely make enough to homologate them. Stark will certainly have at least a few thousand shipped by next June.
The TE310 red head was ok. I remember when Hermies sold Moto Morinis. The Camel was pretty cool.
Triumph sells 100K bikes worldwide. I would assume they need to sell more than 400 in the US to make back their R&D on this model.
I was considering waiting for my new bike purchase for the Triumph….but…the only opinions so far on how the bike is are all from paid by Triumph reps and employees. Still no independent reviews. Also…the fact that Triumph time lines make a glacier seems like Niagara Falls. Any after market stuff will be very slow and limited to roll out for this bike.
