Come on rich people, work your magic. We just need someone with more money than brains to open up some motocross tracks in SoCal.
Let’s start a gofundme
Buy it and Moyer and I will come visit!
can you commit you 2 to running it full time on a volunteer basis?
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
It's just way too much money for a piece of desert land, a shack, some lights, and five grand worth of dozer rental. I think it definitely moves at $299k and moves after some time at $399k, but never moves at $499k and up.
Man I miss Sunrise a lot. Many days racing CMC there, and lots of practice laps there in the Racetown 395 days. So many memories, like the time Buddy Antunez locked his keys in his truck and my Pops popped the lock open with a coat hanger and Buddy gave me a pair of flo yellow Oakley goggles as a thank you! The Golden State National days were so bitchin’, nothing like seeing so many of your heroes show up to bang bars at your local track!
The dirt oval might be a way to generate some income besides relying solely on dirt bikes. Saturday night what run what ya brung circle track races might get some locals out of the wood work. Sell $40.00 entries and $8.00 beers, cha ching lol.
Perfect place for Elon to test his electric motorcycles
My friend Andy used to own that track. I’ve had some seriously fun races on that property….ever since the first time I raced there in 1979.
Welcome to Adelanto
The best that white trash California has to offer
Nicer than Lancaster
Setting the bar pretty low…
I lived there from 1992-1995, it was good times, my favorite time was Monday-Wednesday, no motorcycles ha We ran races there before then for years, lots of CMC Golden States, Spring Classics, Summer Series and Trans-Cals. My dad built that oval, we had stock car races on Saturday nights, it was awesome. We also did Sand Drags there next to it.
SP
I heard that AJ dude was working a deal… cross your fingers Cali boys😂
You guys wanna take over again? We can get Marc to get the track back to its original glory
Lol, I thought the same thing.
Is it still for sale? Anyone got a link to the listing if so?
When I drove by on the way home from Mammoth there was a realtor sign out front and that was only a couple weeks ago.
Pit Row
According to Zillow it sold June 9th for $650k
My dad drove by it a few months ago and said some parts of the tracks were still there. I wonder who bought it.
i really liked the vet track at sunrise… miss it because it was the closest to Vegas for a down and back ride day!
Wish sunrise and comp edge would come back. Both were sooo good. There was another one a bit further up the 15, it’s actually still just sitting.
Love comp Edge and race Town 395 that track off the 15 I believe was called vmc we raced there a couple times saw some fast guys there both the alessi brothers! Gas prices were hard time getting out to those tracks back then can't imagine anybody want to do it now unfortunately. I would for comp Edge LOL place was awesome!
Before it was VMC I believe it was called Stoddard Wells. Sondy would remember. The one and only time I raced there was for a CMC race when I was on 60’s. We drove out there to ride a few times though and the track was cool from what I remember. I still have memories of certain parts of the track and what it was like riding it even though that was like 1998 or 99.
Wow, that landscape is so foreign to me.
What is in Adelanto that makes people think a population explosion might happen? Does it even have a blade of grass, or a tree?
Pure desert paradise! No one wants to live there but people will come from a good 2+hr radius to ride a nice track there. Being just a bit above San Bernardino that's a huge population to draw from.
It's commuting distance to a lot of jobs. And housing is relatively cheap there.
I get that, but I don't think a population explosion is going to effect that track.
I think the implication is that where track is…will be houses in X years.
I'm seeing x-squared.
