Triumph,Wtf are you doing?..

From what I'm gathering, you could sum it up by saying it's an aluminum framed KTM with KYB's? That has potential if all the electronics don't add to the price tag significantly... Welcome Triumph!Cool

I am not a fan of color conversion kits on red/green/blue/yellow/orange/white, but the purpose black  is surprisingly good looking. I still think a british racing green would be cool but I think that's cause i'm old.

Bike sounded great, not that rattle-trap bike sound from that fuzzy video from a few months ago.

Why so secretive? There's a bike...show us.

The build up is taking a turn southbound

Triumph is an absolute powerhouse of a motorcycle manufacturer...What's going on?

Baja builds these - Baja owns half of KTM/PG - So they are tryin to pretend by showing all the parts that are not the same as KTM,  As if that will fool people into thinking its another KTM/Husky/GasGas built in the east.

Looks like a serious entry to me. I am happy they have shown the patience to presumably get it right. At least achieve some level of refinement. Refreshing in a world of expectations for instant gratification which turns into dissatisfaction.

When people were saying it’s just a KTM knock off I thought they were daft, AL frame and all, now the more I see, seems I was wrong…

Yes, Black.

I noted No Graphics at all yet - just the numbers and the Two Rangas names on the bike.

Rangas Rule, by the way - but young Ferry, really should not desecrate our  pulchritudinous pelt in such a manner! Heresy, I say!

If it does indeed end up being Black, well it would be a unique 'colourway' - f**k I hate that term.... So perhaps it will be a black bike. There's no other Dirt Bikes out there in that hue, well other than Rat Bikes and Cool Guys. Oh - I do remember some Vertematis coming out in Black.

Perhaps The Black with Silver or Gold, like a few of their Road Bike 'specials' have been. Or, maybe the graphics will be White, like the Name and Emblem they have at the start etc of the videos?

And, a fair few of us Silly Old bastards have dreamed  about British Racing Green as a befitting colour.

I've not had much of a problem with the drawn out "reveal". But, I do hope they now start showing true pictures of  the Production bikes, sooner rather than later. If only to stop the endless bitching and whining.

Oh, by the way with all of the squealing about where the bike 'may' be made - Triumph have about 70% of their Motorcycle Production in Thailand in three factory precincts - they've had that, officially, since 2002 / 2005 / 2007. But I'm almost certain that their bodywork and / or the painting of it, was done there with the early 'Modular' Kawi Copy triple and four cylinder first re-start up models, almost from the get go.

And, the Japanese 4, BMW, TVS, HD and others have been producing bikes and / or parts in Thailand, some for decades now. It's nothing new.

Anyway, I may get to see it first hand, when I go over there in a few weeks. I've been going over there and to another country with regards to MC  Engineering,  a few weeks a year, to make a living, for some years now, and had not seen a bloody thing about the MXers, At All. They know how to keep things under wraps, boys and girls.

But, I do  think they need to do the full 'Unboxing', a bit quicker now.  To, as I wrote,  notch down the whining and bitching from so many. Though, they may be pushing it all the way  out through the SMX season, I guess.

Its better than the other videos at least. But the bits you get to see SCREAM KTM ripoff. Obvious front fender from a '07 KTM 250SXF. And the stock silencer is spitting image of a '11 KTM 250SXF. Can no one make their own ideas anymore???

LC = Liquid Cooling, a nice option for the old heads to flip on and off. Sadly no drum brakes

QS = Qualifying Speed, for when you need that one lap of pure attack

TC = Traction Control, for when you are stuck in the mud

M = Momentum switch, great for when you are getting tired and start squaring up the corners

Looks to have some extremely advanced features

I'm pretty out of the loop with bike tech. Is there anything comparable to this on other brand's bikes?

Its British, if anything like the other stuff we churn out (jcb) it will probably be shit.

This wins. LOL

If it’s black, it just needs some flo-yellow/volt accents and graphics.

Silencer, swing arm, clamps, and I’m sure more. But Vital is being very defensive today and don’t want to hear it!

It doesn't matter what they released.  People on here will still complain. The way I look at is its another bike to choose from and team racing supporting riders so win win either way.

Awful lot of people buying Triumph products that are quite happy with them....and putting a lot of mileage on them.

As mentioned earlier, I own a 2020 Tiger 900 Rally Pro....totally new/redesigned model in 2020.    I've beat the hell out of it for over 3 years now...mostly off-road.     Solid product....only issues with it are what I brought on myself due to drops and line selection.

I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Bajaj does not make these bikes.  You are way off base.

They all are ripoffs of this original so just relax.  Testers will have their hands on them soon and I have a strong feeling the KTM rip-off theory is going to be shot to hell.

The Triumph design is a vast improvement over the monster on the KTM.

Still not sure what is up with these people...

My triumph triples, where fantastic bikes.  Never had a single issue out of the two I owned. 30,000 miles and 20,000 miles on them.

Not really a theory… they tested and developed the bike using the last gen KTM 250SX-F engine while developing their own version.

People are pointing out parts that are either shared with or heavily influenced by the last gen KTM. Nothing inherently negative about making those observations.

Honestly an aluminum framed KTM with KYB sounds awesome.

Monster is a personal sponsor of RC that's why it's on his helmet....now what will be on the shroud remains to be seen....
