Pick one of those guys and there is no wrong answer.... although I lean to Bailey because he rode the last of the real works Hondas and RJ was there after the works bikes.   Could you imagine being a fly on the wall with those 3 in the same room bs'ing.

RJ, David Bailey, and Johnny O. McGrath, too. And, being a bit of a homer, can't forget this guy

Exactly. Guy who has one of the greatest rides in MX history... when I think of Magoo, it is Honda.

I think Maico, but he did go Fast on Honda's and had is most  success on Honda👍

I always think of McGrath in the 90s but that’s probably because it’s my first SX memories.

Gosh......I guess it depends on my nostalgia mood of the day. Hard question.

I think Magoo ,O'mara , Hansen , Bailey , Johnson , JMB , Stanton and MC. I could name 10 more , but those were the first to come to mind.

I’m glad you said Gajser, I went through every post & I’m pretty he wasn’t mentioned.

When I think of Honda I think of RC.

Despite the fact that when I think of RC, I think of Kawasaki, or sometimes Suzuki.

Weird shit 😂

I think being honest, when I think of Honda I just think Woody Woodpecker.

Honda most generally has little loyalty to it's motocross stars, therefore as far as Honda and the rider I associate with them it is Toni Bou or Scott Summers.

I said Smith and Bailey, but how about "The Flying Freckle" otherwise known as Mr. Jeff Ward?

Because of him I rode an MR50 and then raced an XR75 before moving to a Suzuki 2-Stroke 80.

86 another yr Micky Diamond got screwed . Much was the 86 National champ. 87 champ again & Bob was chosen for the des nations. Micky even raced a 87 125 gp & win by 2 min. Biggest Honda riders 1st star Marty Smith. Then RJ set the new standard for being a star. MC took it too another level.  Lammy is the biggest 125 rider . Henry would be 2nd.  AX TUF Honda

No question for me it is Marty Smith. It’s hard to understand the impact Marty had on so many young MXers in the 70’s if you weren’t there. It may turn out to be similar to young MXers and Jett today. Marty was everywhere in advertisements, all the young kids wanted to be him, and Honda sure sold a lot of bikes because of him.
