I don't get what all the fuss is about with the Kenny name. No opinions on the brand itself but I don't mind the name for a gear brand.

People are strange, I was selling Shot gear a few years ago. I think its great stuff. Held up well, people liked the fit. Some confused it for Shift. The only negatives I ever heard about it was that people did not like the name. I started selling Thor after the Shot distributor for the US went away, and Thor has been much easier to sell. Its wild how marketing works. And how something like a name can turn people away from a solid product. If you just swapped the brand name onto the same exact stuff, those same people...

Why is Casey in B head scratching?? He just turned 17, rode Schoolboy on a 125 last year. This is the natural progression. Just because he found some success early on the 250F doesn't mean to scrap the plan laid out for his future. I would bet he races the pro nationals next year, possibly the last couple this year like Deegan did.

I agree that all brand names start out as nothing until they make their mark and build their brand, but the "Kenny" name already has very strong associations, and they're not exactly cool. Yes, Troy Lee used his name, but it's a unique and cool sounding name. It's literally the combination of the location of a famous Greek war and the the most famous martial artist of all time. Not a cartoon character or an American redneck. Unfortunately, I don't think the Kenny motocross brand is ever going to surpass the brand power of these 3...

aside from Oneal, all of the others have changes to the name It's not Troy, its Troy Lee Designs (albeit, not much better) It's not Torsten, it's Thor Imagine buying Geoff gear instead of fox lol
