The astars gear looks good. But some of the designs look blank on the chest/stomach area. Normally there would be a honda or monster logo there and they remove it and it looks blank.

Fly quality is top notch but I just can’t get on board with their designs.

I'm a fly guy but I sure hope there's more to the 24 line up than what's dropped so far..

I ran the all black mountain bike gear at Daytoner. I love that stuff.

I don't get what all the fuss is about with the Kenny name. No opinions on the brand itself but I don't mind the name for a gear brand.

People are strange, I was selling Shot gear a few years ago. I think its great stuff. Held up well, people liked the fit.  Some confused it for Shift.  The only negatives I ever heard about it was that people did not like the name. I started selling Thor after the Shot distributor for the US went away, and Thor has been much easier to sell.

Its wild how marketing works. And how something like a name can turn people away from a solid product. If you just swapped the brand name onto the same exact stuff, those same people would line up to buy it. I think its more the marketing behind the name, than the name itself.  So many Gear brands are the name of the founder. TLD, FOX, THOR , O'neil, MSR and more. Kinda seems like all the most popular brands are from peoples names

2024 Fly gear looks better than the stuff they have had the last couple of years. But i still feel like they need a complete re-brand with new people involved in the design department. Also the 4-5 different logo fonts do my head in, it's a horrible idea to do that.

I'm pretty sure it was a new designer this year.

JT was talking about how it was a designer on their way out that did the 2023 stuff. And that they had a different person doing the 24 line. I think the 24 stuff is an improvment!

The new thor gear came out yesterday and as a lifelong thor guy I will say It was a bit underwhelming. Are they even releasing new pulse stuff? It's all the same as last year on the website

Yeah I thought the same, it's possible the pulse stuff will come later but it's there as part of the '24 drop page and it's the same as last year's gear (which was also a bit 'meh').

Thor release is extremely disappointing. I'm hoping that there us more but it does not seem like it.

Thor always looks the same to me.

JT, more fly coming? Seems thin.

New Alpinestars SuperTech gear is much better than 2023. Everything is sublimated, it's super light weight. Size is very similar, just a bit more room in the arms.

I sell Thor gear, and I'm bummed with the release .When I saw the pre order images I thought it was a mistake, no new Pulse.    I am hoping that they end up doing some limited runs of Pulse stuff  and that is not the full 24 lineup.  I've only been following Thor closely for the past few years. Have they ever done this before???

They did a similar thing with the Moose gear, lots of carryover colorways.

The 23 stuff had those heavy rubberlike logos on the jerseys. I was surprised at how heavy they felt compared to pretty much every other jersey.

The Supertech pants had the stretchy material in the  ass area that made it not last as well as it could. Did they change the pant at all? The Thor Prime has a heavy nylon in that area that seems like its the way to go .  A customer of mine that is super loyal to Astars was pointing that out when I was lettering a jersey for him. He was saying that area was the first to go in his pants. He runs a factory edition seat on his bikes though , and those are rough on stuff.

I think that Alpinestars gear is the best looking of the 24 stuff I've seen so far. A good variety and clean looking overall. II have not checked out the stuff that Fox just released yet. The past couple years some Fox stuff has started to look like knock off fox stuff to me. Some of the kits still look cool and have that Fox feel to them.Alpinestars gear has become the gear brand I would say has the best overall line.

LOL, Thor added  2 colorways  in the Prime line of gear for women for 2024. There is one colorway that Your "friend" may really like.

Pulse will be a carryover for 24 as there was plenty of inventory to run it a second year.  You'll probably see a few brands doing that as so much inventory was in the market for 23 that sell through wasn't as good.  There will definitely be some amazing new stuff on the horizon though.

Yeah those heavy logos are gone. That was so weird. I don't know if the butt area is any different, but I have not had any issues with them before.

I'm an Astars fanboi. From head-to-toe and I wear their casual stuff too on the daily. It says "I ride/race motorcycles" without being a poser (Fox). I just need some Astars goggles...

How does Fox mean you're a poser?  Because they grew and sell it in retail outlets?

Not necessarily, but whenever I see Fox stuff they are usually big ass-stickers on the back of trucks being driven by a flat-bill.

Sometimes the colors do not show well in the photos.  The Sector stuff that has a greenish tint to it is most likely flo yellow  and not greenish like the photos.  I like the look Prime analog the best. That blue set is clean.  The T-shirts are better quality than in the past too. I had some 22 t shirts and the 23 shirts that are a carryover are the same price, but much better quality than the 22.

I figured that it was excess inventory that kept the Pulse line current. Seeing stock levels . I was just hopeful that  I was wrong.
