Anybody been? Looks pretty legit. A bit of everything racing wise. It's located in the south of England southwest of Southhampton.

FYI, background on Sammy Miller - he was a world-class trials and ISDE rider back in the day. Maybe the UK's Dick Mann? He is in the AMA Hall of Fame.

Bummer for me it's so far south, when I go visit UK I am always further north.
The UK really has some great museums, especially for WW2.... the battle of Britain memorial is right by where I grew up
Tank museum at Bovinton is outstanding, but it’s a fair way South down by Weymouth.
Thats really interesting! The video of him riding a trials bike at 86 was funny!
the best bit is that he’s from Belfast 💪🏻. Thanks for sharing

Went there 25 years back while on a project. Looked at a lot of bikes I had never seen before. Learned a lot about Sammy and the motorcycle competition back in his day. Bought a bunch of stuff and asked the lady at the counter if I could leave the book and get it signed. She hollered at this "chap" who was polishing a few bikes, teaching a little tyke. It was Sammy and he was such a character. Loved the visit! I suggest you take the time if possible.
I went there as a kid and dont think I really appreciated it back then, my memory is just a bunch of dusty old bikes. I think it was part of a bigger car museum because I remember Donald Campbell Bluebird land speed record car being there.
I think you might be getting mixed up with Beaulieu museum ? Which is not far away.
I have been to the Sammy miller museum a few times over the last 25 years, never seen any Cars there.
It's not the biggest museum , but most of the bikes are either rare or have an important history.
Lot of competition bikes, more quality than quantity would be a good way to describe it.
National motorbike museum in Birmingham is good as well. The only reason I can see anyone would go near Birmingham.
