It costs a lot of money for an AI design subscription and freight from Taiwan to bring it from the sweatshops. Add in money to the sponsored riders and other marketing expenses, and there's barely enough left for the CEO's. Next year they'll have to choose between a Yacht or that 3rd house, the wife isn't going to like being told no to one of those; and she's already banging the pool guy and the general contractor doing the kitchen renovation, so the ice is thin.

Congratulations for working at Ford, I have experience directly with Triumph on this matter with how they handle things in their organization because my bike was repaired under their goodwill repair (beyond warranty) program. And do you know how mine got covered? My dealership didn’t accept the “no” when corporate said it can’t be repaired under warranty due to the warranty being expired. My bike was fixed more than 1 year beyond purchase (warranty is 30 days). Those denied claims being reviewed you’re talking about is exactly what I’m referring to when I say the dealership is responsible to push...

Wouldn't that be like Honda saying our CRF450 is so good they won't let us race it in the 250 class? Not sure that is a great selling point.

Yeah, can't be cheating. Gotta play by the rules. Can't have an unfair competetive advantage...you know like double the cc engine size when the four stroke was shoved down our throats.

Cheating to weak results even before being penalized. Isn't it supposed to be "the best motocross bike there ever was?" 😉

I believe being “sponsored” is having a contract with said company everything else is just a discount or a hook up. Does the company know your name? are you listed on their website? I have gotten lots of free shit over the years but would never call myself sponsored. I am not too cool, I am a realist. Edit: I didn’t say you bragged about a sponsorship. I just made a comment on Sponsorhouse. You know, the place where you pay to be “sponsored” and still pay for last years product. Sorry for striking a nerve with you.

Not like I'm the ambassador for health...but those things have disgusting shit in them. Do your own research on the ways they can make Cyanocobalamin. And they won't list which way its made. My favorite is the one where they scrap the foam off the top of sewage water, dry it and mix it with other vitamins to make the "B12" they claim it to be. Yes I said sewage foam. That was more than enough to steer me away from it. Now I'm hearing people with health issues related to consumption of it as well. I'm just not gonna...

Pretty sure Brexit isn't responsible for 1,000 fighting age men slinging their documents in the sea and coming across the sea in boats every day. That'll be more to do with the French waving them off at the coast, Border Farce picking them up a mile out to sea, and our corrupt politicians, Serco & Blackrock having shares in the contracts to house them, with our taxes being hiked to pay for it. It's a gravy train/money laundering operation and they won't be stopping it anytime soon - there's too much money being made. Not to mention the 27,000 Afghans...

There is also stuff like JIS hydraulic fittings, and other stuff as well, that may or may not be relevant to motorcycles I knew about the screw heads 30 + years ago, but didn't learn about the hydraulic fittings till 20 years ago when I became involved in repairing japanese excavators ( komatsu, Hitachi etc)

I buy and sell stuff on the places that worked well and existed before Facebook was invented. I know it's hard for some people to believe there was life before Facebook. If you asked a scammer for an ideal place to sell I bet they would say Marketplace eBay seems to have less time wasters Probably because you have to...

I deleted Facebook years ago, and every time I see a thread like this I am glad I did. There are lots of marketplace parodies on YouTube, and you can see why FB truly is a breeding ground for mental illness

They are also using the map location it shows on the posting to come drive around searching for someone who may have a dirtbike. One guy in my state posted on there, and replied to some sketchy looking profile. Told them he lived near such and such church. House near the church got broken into and a gun stolen a couple days later after the guy told him he wouldn’t be able to come for a couple weeks. Then his 3 bikes got stolen. I won’t even entertain putting my bike on Marketplace because of shit like that. I’d like...

Nobody ever considers the insane amount of r and d (energy emissions retooling) involved with a new technology like this, all the infrastructure changes (energy, crews, emissions). Shops need new tooling, chargers, wiring, breakers, sometimes new walls and buildings to meet the needs. I’ve been in fleet work for 10 years and automotive for 20 and the amount of money, energy and crews involved with prepping for and maintaining electric has been staggering. So yes maybe in a vacuum ignoring a huge amount of extraneous variables electric produces zero emissions. The amount of energy that goes into revamping entire industries...

You sit there and quote articles. I lived the real world as a Ford Service manager through it all. At the end of the day, I don't care either way. If your purchase makes you happy by all means rock on man. But that shit is laughable. Seriously laughable

Not a boomer, I have been in the automotive industry and seen first hand all of the fun electric that is "so great and superior" I can't help but laugh at the naivety in here. Not one person in here has had to deal with finding vendors for "recycle" which is a false term for throwing away and sucking the acid out, then farming precious metals out of the battery and pitching the rest in the dump like normal that is FAR more contaminant than oil. Or battery manufacturers on a regular basis with all of the issues. Further more...

Buzzer. Wrong, you posted earlier for your reasons of purchase which is fine. Those sound all nice and such, but reality and facts start to get skewed when you say things like this. Batteries fail quickly, are expensive to replace and HORRIBLE for the environment from the start of mining, digging in earths core, finding special metals, and then to the time is it not recycled properly because they haven't found a way to do it. I am all for consumer options, but do not sway the facts. The automotive industry is just on the edge of breaking the obvious...
