Some of these tools reinvent themselves everytime the newest trend comes around

in the 90’s  the construction worker look, then jump the Cowboys look

y2k brought the Moto bro fad , then the Sons of malarkey look took over now cowboy look has returned

Guy can't make up his mind. Lived 1 year of his life in the UK, grew up mostly in Canada without any accent, suddenly gained a scottish accent after moving to the USA and now he's a cowboy. Check mate!

Careful what you say or you may end up getting a ride from Deno to the bus station.

I’m only here for AP’s fake country accent that came out of nowhere the last year.

The Hill bros absolutely killin’ it this year. Who would’ve thought?

Many on here had them written off years ago.  Natural talent!

Uhh I think people had them written for good reason though. Josh had a ton of potential, some great results, then derailed his career with a dumbass backflip attempt. And I don't know what the hell happened with Justin but it's almost the same story, went from 250 champ to barely getting top 10s and disappearing for a few years doing crap songs instead of what he's actually talented at. I'm glad to see both of them out there still, especially Josh, feels like he's been around forever.

Do you remember how good Josh was riding the start of 2010? One of the great "What ifs" in mx history. Imagine if he never attempted the stupid backflip

And there they are, having fun, living life, winning points, and here people still are saying negative shit about decisions other people made with their own path.

Sorry, I am not trying to single you out or be a douche, there is so much negativity these days. Let's have some good on them for living in this moment.

Something to watch is a few minutes in one of Weeges' pre-race shows before the NY / NJ SX.

He interviewed Justin while he was sitting on a Tuff Block, and Justin really came across as very happy, focused and a man with a plan. No mention of his music etc, just all about his racing and riding efforts.

As I said, it was really good to see and hear. 2 'older' brothers, coming back into racing, and, from what it appears, not faffing about, is a good thing to see. They've done quite well, I think.

I think he had a "Cowboy" hat on at the time, but hell, Justin and Josh are light haired Rangas, and we Rangas melt / burn in the bloody moonlight.

I should have got an Akubra decades ago, but, as they have become such  'fashion items', I've never got one. I've just used my Dad's old OZ Army  battered Slouch Hat, or any number of fold up , full brim hats that I can mutilate to fit in my workpant pockets, or straw hats. Never, ever a Baseball / Truckers hat,  because they leave far too much Ranga Hide exposed to our vicious Aussie Sun, and, well, because I bloody well hate the things.......

Around here if you do road construction by day, you apparently wear your high visibility neon T-shirt 24-7.

I know a couple people that train cutting horses. The first thing they do when they are done riding is get out of their boots and into some way more comfortable footwear that will hold up to cow and horse piss and shit. I've never seen them in a cowboy hat unless they are getting ready to go into a show pen, I mean just before they mount up.

I’ve always been a fan of their riding style but I never really thought they put their best foot forward when it came to training. Didn’t expect much from either of them results wise but god damn they must be doing something right.

As bad as everyone in here wants to chat about cowboy and construction fashion trends... Can we get back to the fact that this is a 3 pager and still nothing on the actual Hill bros "incident".

Where are all the "insider journos" when you actual have real incidents? If this is true in any way... it's pretty insane that riders were attacked in a car with crowbars and it didnt make any news anywhere?

Three pages and no more info on the Hill brothers "action"  in NYC?  Laughing  I'm a fan of the brothers.

As for cowboy hats... I wear them all the time.  Pretty common up here in rural NorCal, and very practical in the sun. Wilson's look at press day however looks more like a rodeo clown than cowboy. Not sure if he making fun of folks or trying to endear himself to a demographic.

Then again, his wife is hot, he has more money in the bank, and can ride circles around me.  So he earns the right to look like a clown.... and I am in no position to judge.

I lived in NYC from 2007-2008. When DeBlasio became mayor, The City became a shit hole.

The only services off the Yoncalla exit are a couple tiny hotels, a hamburger joint, a Denny's, and an adult shop linked to a truck stop.Laughing

Ironically enough after checking out the hill the night before Big Hill Jam last year we went to get a late dinner at Denny's, and one of the waitresses there was insanely hot.  I was shocked haha.

ok, back on OP topic... any pictures of the Mini Cooper busted out?

No pics or videos. Scuffle did not happen, just like me battling truck loads of Ninjas on my way to school in the 80s.

Yeah, he's from Hamilton OH, but he's married to a GA girl so maybe that's where the redneck comes from?

Wasn’t AP dancing, doing the worm, before he was calf ropin’?

Yeah I do remember seeing AP talk about him listening to Hip Hop and especially Techno/DubStep on the start gate and doing the worm to get “fired up.”
