That is very interesting. Last year I was talking to a guy about it and he swore they were going to be based on the Kawasaki platform. Now I’m thinking (maybe) he wasn’t full of shit.

I think since Ivan’s been riding a blacked out Kawi and Ferry has been riding a blacked out Yamaha, it’s a pretty good bet that the bike’s primary color is going to be black. My guess is black and a neon yellow accent.

I think it would be an even better bet that they're riding blacked out bikes to avoid looking like they have ties to another manufacturer.

There was a rumor going around by someone claiming to have either seen the bike or heard from someone who had seen the bike that it’s basically a KTM clone. Forget where I read that…

There is a video of RC heavily hyping the bike and claiming it is game changing… revolutionary… “like nothing else out there,” I believe we’re his exact words.

There must be a spy photo of bike somewhere!! C’mon!

If it was a ktm clone we would of seen photos a long time ago, Since it’s a all triumph new bike as they say from ground up they have to keep it under wraps as they’re  under development for patent reasons . If it was a ktm rebadge would be no reason to keep it so hidden like they have . I don’t get why everyone keeps saying rebadge ktm even as they triumph have said it’s their own bike from the ground up, And they know how to build badass 4 stroke race engines as all Moto 2 gp race bikes run triumph engines

Mitch has to be pissed. wonder what he was paying IT9...or was he just engaged by the riders directly?

i wonder if Triumph tries to OEM Ohlins, i know they do alot with them on the street side. Hopefully RC dissuaded them from doing so. Brembo though, is almost a given.

also wonder if the engines will be made in thailand and how that will work out...

I have a 2017 thruxton R and it’s been a awesome bike 15k on it and not one fault so I’m really excited to see their mx bike, they really build a solid road bike

I've had my Tiger nearly 3 years now.  It was a first year new model (full redesign)...bought it during the COVID lockdowns.

I've beaten the hell out of it off roading and it's been an incredibly solid/reliable bike.... no issues other than a leaking fork seals...and that was likely due to me getting that 450 pound beast seriously airborne (and bottoming it out).

I will buy another T next time around....

I really don't think it is, but I'm not sure anyone would be surprised if it was. Just really hope we get something new and different. The rules of pro racing are killing innovation.

Lol at the idea of RC as the "R&D guy/test rider." Like he is out there just pounding away hours on the test track to critique a bunch of minor changes to the fuel maps and bolt up 7 test linkage geometries or whatever.

This is intriguing. Forget what I said about KTM, now I just hope it's not another KX.

And this Kawasaki rumor would really explain why there are no spy photos. Nobody thought twice about the KX testing going on.

If it was just a rebadged product from one of the current manufacturers, why wouldn't they have gone racing 2 or 3 years ago?

RC has said in the past that the team needed more development time.

If it were a rebadged product, they wouldn't have needed an extra 2 or 3 more years of development. They would have gone racing and figured out bike setups as the season went on. No different than any of the current teams switching manufacturers.

Especially when you think that he never rode a 250 professionally.

And this Kawasaki rumor would really explain why there are no spy photos. Nobody thought twice about the KX testing going on.

Their Spanish test rider was riding black Honda that made me think they just testing parts and bolting them to other bikes.

pretty easy guess that the bikes might be backed by Pro-Circuit.

Stamp it! Pro-Circuit Triumph team.

This would be really cool.  PC changing could be just the boost they need to get back in the game.

Well.... lets see the bike. I reserve all judgement till that happens. Heck it could be another Cannondale. Remember that bike ... that was going to change the industry.

So... lets see it. Show it to me! I hate talkers vs doers. )

No, he did a video on a pc Kawasaki mostly for Monster. He’s been with triumph since Suzuki.

If this bike doesn't make it to market or is non competitive it will go down as one of the biggest flops in moto history.

I don’t see how this would be a relevant way to test.
