Not a thing. Using the coin to spend it on days at the track, camping trips on the dual sport, and of course, high octane gas.

At least we have one sensible person on site lol.

Will there be an all new KX450?

Somebody posted a pic of a Red Beta 300 RX on another one of my threads a while back and it was sharp.  Not sure I could warm up to the 6 speed but I love two strokes, especially with electric start.  I keep saying I’m going to buy or build one some day.

A CRF280 like Anstie is running!   Oh…relax…I’m just kidding. A 24’ YZ250f.

You mean YZ350FX.... I still can't believe they don't see that market as being one to enter. Jeez....

I may keep my current bike and splurge on some conevalves if I get on really well with it.

If not it will either be the new tc250 or I got back 4stroke in which case I’d probably go Suzuki and have all the nice bits on it with the cash I save.

I'll be here fantasizing over all your new bikes. Gonna be a few years before I purchase a brand new one. In the meantime, the ole budget friendly '16 YZ250 is my partner in crime.

I shouldn't be planning anything as I have a 23yz450 that Ive ridden 1 time and really really like. It's parked next to my 21 WE that I need to sell and have loved from the beginning of ownership.. BUT, the spy photos of the 24 kx450 have me excited lol... I just like new stuff!

My concern on the 2024 YZ250F will be demand/availability.  If I said this before I claim old age.  This last fall I couldn’t find a 23 Yamaha 250F to save my life.  Not sure if they weren’t out yet or sold out, I can’t recall but I did find a 23 Honda.  Getting close to the end of my new bike buying years I may hold out get what I want this year.  But I said that last fall too!!

I'm seriously looking at YZ450FX, KX450X, KTM350XC and the TX300...

I've been on the Yamaha 450FX's since 2019 (on a 2021 now...waiting on the changes to make it to the FX's), and if it gets the changes the 2023 450f's got this year, that's the "most likely" bet for me (with the new air box set up, I'm a little concerned about aftermarket fuel capacity)...

I rode a 2023 350XC and TX300 and REALLY liked both of them...I'd give the 350 the slight edge just because I don't want to mix gas.  And I've always wanted to try a 350...but if I get a wild hair and want to try something drastically different, I'd get the TX300.

But I've heard such good things about the KX's...and at the price point...its always a tempting choice.

It's almost time to replace my '06 YZ250. Time for something different... like a '24 YZ250.

Best bike ever I've had 6 or so. Friends keep switching bikes to find the "right" one. I just work harder on riding mine properly

That's sort of where I'm at also. I race Plus 40 a couple times a year and just practice ride for fun, so not like it matters at this point lol. But I had my '14 YZ250F dialed and sold it for a new 350 in '18. Great bike, kept it a few years but never meshed with it like my 250F. Sold it and got a '21 YZ250F and just love the bike. Got that one modded and dialed in and just hate the idea of starting over. Especially when it's still relatively low hours. Plus I have my 125 that I also ride. It is always nice to get something new, but it also sucks to start over and give up a bike that you have dialed in. Everyone's situation is different though.

If I get a new one it’d most likely be a TM 450EN.

I'll probably just have these 2 bikes in my stable:

Stark Varg due in March

Stark Future side view 1-1024x683

And then my old, trusty, 2018 Alta MXR :

Is the stark really coming in a month?  I thought everything was pushed back to next fall?

I am up to 10 bikes. Even I have to admit that I need to sell a few before I buy another. It's hard to keep up with all that maintenance given my OCD. Anyone want to buy an 18 FC350, 79 RM125N, or 79 Daytona Special? I'll be buying the boy a 250 for Christmas, so something has to go. Wink

Most likely a 2024 300XC. By then my 2018 300 will probably have something like 300 hours on it. Although it still runs great, I'm assuming she will start to feel "tired".

Fucking things ain't cheap though.
