However, KTM before Ken could sign or further contract negotiations, ETC. Wanted a (seperate) test, and they refused to consider that. That is what I read, attack me now.

Don't know but all rules are the same: FIM Protocol (meaning WADA). He talks about pay races, but the official name of those 500k races are the "FIM World Supercross" and their rule book is clear as Hawaii' water!

If I'm Honda I'm doing everything to keep him. Just look at how bad him and Eli smoked everyone last year, they were beating the 3rd place rider buy a minute + on some occasions. Honda is making a huge mistake imo. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
They don't really cover up, they just don't care enough to start taking blood, hair and urine samples. Why? Because riders, racing full out for 30 minutes like superman are more interesting and creates income from fans, more tests are a burden and cost money.
I believe both Anderson and Roczen have had people randomly show up at their place to test them in the past.
My guess is they have a budget and they're putting all the chips on the Lawrence bros, esp Jett.
They probably view Jett as a better rider and most likely win a chip on the 450.
Supposedly WADA had a couple guys a year on a list where they would do that. I think I heard RV and Reed talk about that.

I seem to remember reading that USADA does a lottery type system and gets a couple of names they randomly test per year, and those guys have to make themselves available whenever USADA shows up. Doorbell rings at 6am on a Sunday? You better be ready & willing to piss.

It's not difficult to see why Honda would reward him with a 450 ride. It remains to be seen if it'll all pan out, but it's clear as day that Jett is Honda's future.
If you're Sexton, why not move to a different team and be the number 1 guy and get paid very well to be that guy.
Also, how many races did Sexton have on the 450 before moving up? None, but he was a 2x 250SX Champ and he had 6 wins combined between MX and SX.
Jett already has 2 250 national titles, 1 250SX title and he's the heavy favorite going into 2023 250SX with a very good chance at defending the title. He currently has 21 wins combined between MX and SX with 1 more 250SX season to go before moving up.
Based on their 250 careers alone, I'd say it's less risky signing Jett than it was signing Sexton.
Honda has more money than every othe team combined. Which is why they don't have/need an energy drink sponsor. Honda can spend whatever they want to for whomever they want to.
The other teams have those sponsors because they DON'T have Honda money
Yes he looked good after some guys just rode enough to get the victory. Mxdn is not 17 rounds of Supercross or 12 rounds outdoors. You can't base anything off the Mxdn. Kid is fast no doubt, but I'd wait a season to see how he does on a 450 before letting one of the fastest 450 riders in the world walk. But that's just me.
