That's a good point, but they could have oil injection plus TBI to satisfy that requirement. Obviously that can be defeated, but you could add oil to the tank of your 350 xcf-w too. For that matter you could run leaded gas in about anything.
You can milk anything with nipples.

Looks like some production models being spotted

How is that even possible when ktm hasn’t even had a press release on the new bike? Someone knows someone with connections I guess.

What’s interesting about the above photos is that one bike has orange clamps, the other black. There is also a holeshot device on that bike, and it looks kind of like those might be Xact Pro forks. It’s hard to tell for sure though.

Looks like they are some kind of photoshoot/media bikes with dunlop stickers on tyres.

Enduro models got orange frames and bng but still on the old platform. They are supposedly hitting dealers now along with the 2023 gasgas which are also on the old platform. Is assume ktm is clearing out the last of the old platform parts and will switch to new platform only from here on. So if you want an old platform bike don’t wait until December because that ship may have already sailed.

Yes, WRC777 said above 👍
The enduro models are usually a year behind in moving to the new platform, so makes sense.

Dude you are clueless. KTM has a better warranty program then any of the Japanese oem’s. Which one do you work for?

Not that I have to prove anything, but I know that they replaced my friends frame at no charge.

My Honda issues say you are wrong at least about Honda caring about their customers. They denied any responsibility and could not even tell me what I could have done wrong to cause the issue. On the other hand there are a lot of stories about ktm fixing issues months after sale.

Also, back in 2008 I had a new KTM 144SX. I had an engine issue at around the 15-20 hour mark. They replaced it at no charge. Also notable, I had some engine work to the bike, and they still replaced it.

They warrantied a modded engine? Wow. I assume the failure was unrelated to the mod. I am impressed they looked at it and actually went through the process to determine if the mod caused the issue or was unrelated.

Yeah KTM has always stepped up for me when they were well out of what would be called a warranty range. Honda just says pound sand. I had a gas cap issue on a 110. Known issue for a lot of people they said nope tough luck. Terrible service.

57hp? Sounds like they took the 300sx seriously. Not just a 300 xc jug and crappy head.

Nice bike! I'm really curious how the EFI will work on the two strokes.

BTW I checked the KTM homepage:
- SX125 and SX250 both gained 4.9 kg or 10.8 lbs
- 250f gained 2 kg or 4,4 lbs
- 450 gained 2.6 kg or 5.7 lbs
So e start, battery, electric power valve and EFI added less than 3 kg to the two stroke engines.

The 300XC is listed as a 5 speed… That’s a bummer.

There’s a $1900 difference between the 300SX and 300XC. Surely it’s more than a big tank and 18” wheel, right? Do we at least get a semi-wide ratio 5 speed on the XC?
