Have an injected 150sx and its been an amazing bike. You hear a lot about carbed bikes hitting harder, but I'm not a pro rider, I'll never be a pro rider, and this bike is plenty fast for what I want to do. Messing with a carb was such a pain and I just don't have to deal with that on this bike. Previously had a 2003 CR250 and it was such a hassle to be constantly fiddling with the carb.

Not playing basketball in these things, the sole is there for protection and designed to be used standing on sharp footpegs taking in a ridiculous amount of force distributed over a tiny patch

I turned 52 in October. Been riding since I was 13. The last 12-15 years all I have done is ridden, havent raced at all except for a couple team Hare Scrambles with my older boy. This year my older boy talked me into racing a local Hare Scamble and I had a blast. Then later in the summer my younger boy talked me into racing a local MX. 10/21/2025 4:26am I've always read that these bikes like high octane. I've run 50/50 93 pump/C12 for about 102 octane since day one and it runs great.

I wont even ride one. There was a demo at a practice track I was at this summer and I said, nope. Not because I'm some boomer yelling at clouds who is against electric. Because Ive heard such great things I'm afraid how much I'll like it. Then in my slow Vet B rider brain I'll think, I need one of these! I'm slow because I dont have one! 😂 😂 Sweet ride. And I feel obligated to say, spoke with my wallet is only for 2-strokes! 😂 Look forward to a ride report

I think last year was the only year where he made every single round without an injury, he came into the season recovering from one though and tore his ACL in the end of 2024. Other than that there hasn't been a year, even in his dominant years he broke something. Shoulders being by far his most injuries. It actually blows my mind and that he tips over and has a broken collar bone or discolated shoulder everytime while Seewer flies 60 yards through the air and ends up scratch free. I know I’m preaching to the choir here. 99.99% of regular VitalMX posters have been to races in person, and probably have raced themselves. But I just think the fan experience, or even expectation, is different when you go to a race, versus following the series on the tube. Here’s my point: A lot of people (okay, some people) say the races are boring when there’s a runaway winner dominating the series. But when we’re at the track, I don’t think it’s boring at all. I’m an older rider, raced and loved 500’s, but also raced every size of bike along the way. Spent years on 125’s. And they were exciting to ride and race, and exciting to watch too. The thing is, it’s not just the power of the modern bikes, but the handling too is so good that the speeds are higher than ever before. We are not going to give up our modern suspension. But would it really hurt anything if we gave up the ridiculous power levels we’re at now? Kids are on 250f’s at young ages, and those bikes are...
