Perfect for seat grabs...

That cylinder head looks super compact. Must be a single cam. Meaning it’s a 450, right? I don’t imagine they would lose a cam on the 250/350 considering the rpms those bikes turn.

The exhaust length seems shorter than before. No large header loop up front and a short, tucked in muffler.

Also, the new shock looks entirely different. The forks “look” like the current fork; but, I don’t know if they’re dimensionally the same.
So the air shock is not on the agenda, yet?

Looks good to me. No vented airbox plate or electronics on the bar pad so hopefully they have sorted those quirky things out. Back to the back frame unfortunately.

Have the KTMs ever been the best looking bikes? They’ve always looked distinctly KTM.

The side plates remind me of the 07 models

I posted that picture last year on vital. But that’s the bike that Roland Edelbacher was meant to race in 2020 GP MX2 on Tanel’s team before he got injured.
Since he is from Austria and Tanel is also doing R&D for the KTM group they were gonna race that bike.
If you can see it has the new frame, swing arm, head,… they just put the current plastic on it.
That picture been taken at the end of 2019 so it’s quite a bit ago.

Feels like riding a 85 if they make it smaller. Hitting feet's in the ground, knees in bars.

How tall are you? I'm 6'7" and love my KTM. Put a extra tall seat and tall bars on it and STFU and ride it.

Have you had overheating issues on your KTM? Which model was it?

I think the 16-18 models are some of the best looking bikes ever. I almost never like the way new models look with two exceptions 09 crf450 and 16 kim’s but that’s just me.

A bit over 6". Can't ride with taller bara or seat. Lose touch with the machine.

I'll be watching these 2023 threads closely. I'm going to stay on my '20 FC450 for the next year but I'll probably make the switch to a '23 FC350. I'm hoping for white frames in '23!

Does anyone know if this new body style will be on all the 2023 ktm bikes or just the SXF models ? Can anyone confirm if the SX two stroke line up will be updated with this plastic for 23’ ?

Fork guards and front plate seem to have an overhaul too. The plate looks like a husky design with the lower triple clamp protectors.

So ride a supermini
Sure, why not? And I'll gladly race it against your Honda Goldwing. I've always disliked the feel of long bikes, and I don't care for 450s, either. I don't write broadly-generalized condemnations of those bikes (E.G. "has to be a freaking midget to race it"), though, because I would never assume I'm John Q. Everyman. Horses for courses, like I said. To that end, whichever new-generation 250F is revealed to be the one that feels the most nimble and sporty, is the one I'll buy,

To me, color matters not, but it seems there are some on here who, no matter what, don't have much love for the color orange. Et tu, Brute?

So far, all of the generation changes have gone across the whole line-up, so I see no reason for that not to continue to be the case.

Oh, you're actually "normal," not tall.

Sorry guy.

Reason I ask is because In 2016 the new body style came on all the ktm models , except the 250 SX which remained the old body style. Possibly because the 250sx was going to be an all new bike in 2017? I’m hoping the 23’ 250 SX will be all new like the four stroke line up.

Ya true, good point. But from what I remember from MXA (I think) was that year, they didn't have the new engine done for the 250SX and it wouldn't mate to the new chassis, so they just decided to hold off a year. That was the only reason that it didn't change along with the rest of the line up.....or something to that affect.

So I get the rear shock is different on the new 23 gen bike, but can anyone definitively say that if I buy a set of cone valves for my 21.5 FE they will work on the new gen bike or not? that would be an expensive mistake of it doesn’t work lol.

No over heating issues. I was taking about the engine not getting enough air because the air box is too restricted
