My favorite is top pro's telling that they "seen" that.
Ugh. Sounds so uneducated. Hate when people say that.

Can I get an AMEN?

Keys to the race in general are pretty pointless in dirt bike racing.

For all the haters, Google images "motor"
So why is it called a 'Motorcycle'

Shouldn't it be an 'Enginecycle'.

Calling amateur races that are not a National a National.

There is only 1 AMA Amateur National Championship. Its at Loretta's. If you win Loretta's you are an AMA Amateur National Champion.

If you win the James Stewart Spring Championship at Freestone, Mini O's, Daytona, or Mammoth etc... you are not an AMA Amateur National Champion. No where on the awards or advertisements for those events do you see the word "National". Because they are not. They are AMA "Major Events".

Thought of a few sayings/comments that are often said that I find annoying haha.

1) When somebody says they "got a 3rd place holeshot".... No, no you didn't. You actually did NOT get the holeshot but rather got a 3rd place start hahahaha

2) Podum interviews by all the top riders when they start the sentence with "I can't thank Sponsor X, Y, and Z" BUT never finish that sentence with "enough". I get it if they wanted to say "I can't thank Bell Helmets enough" but it ends up actually being "I can thank Bell Helmets....", leaving it open ended and actually sounding/meaning worse hahaha

Anyone else have some good ones?

I don't hear it much anymore, but "borded out" drives me nuts.
Also, non-moto, but "texed." As in, "I texed my sister just now." No, no you didn't. You TEXTED her.

For those of you who are butt-hurt by others referring to an engine as a motor, Dig This!

1968 song that all bikers hail as their anthem, Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf. The song starts off something like this...

Get Your Motor Running Head Out On The Highway...

Also, don't ever use Motor Oil in your engine. It will most certainly seize your engine!

1) Langston describing a riders “body English”
2) commentators and other people within the industry describing anyone who isn’t on a factory bike as a privateer. In my opinion your a privateer if you are racing out of a van with a few sponsors, a rider on a team isn’t a privateer just because they don’t have factory support

I agree. Twisted tea or hep Suzuki or whatever is no way a privateer team. Just my opinion. That also goes for JMC. AEO. Club MX. ETC

Is rocky mountain mc a privateer team now too since they don’t get factory engines and suspenders anymore?

I could be way out in left field on this but that’s just how I see it

I agree, a private team (like RMATV) is still a team and a proper one.

you cant ride for them and be a privateer.

I privateer runs his own gig with his own money.

Not really annoying, but hearing what an advantage having "those long legs for leverage" is, when the dude saying it was both pretty short and stupid fast, was always amusing.
