The other poll made me wonder how much in the minority I am as I don't listen to or watch any of the podcasts. If there is a short segment or something like that posted on youtube or linked here I may check it out otherwise I just get news here or read the websites . Can't get through them .

Are you proud of the fact you're behind on the times and missing out on solid moto content?

I don't like the media format. I don't like listening to people just talking for over an hour. Reading it is much faster and more engaging.

I do enjoy watching the video highlights and short clips.

With three kids @4,6&8 and I do a lot of driving for work, it’s the best way to get all the news and information. Especially playing fantasy.

Depends if I'm driving or not. Summer driving to tracks listen a lot. Winter only when have to trailer sleds to go snowmobiling. Don't ever just sit at home and listen. Someday I'll get a bluetooth speaker in the garage and maybe listen to them when working on bikes.

A little off subject maybe. I’ve read every “ask ping” he ever did, then he went to video and I’ve never listened to a single one.

I don’t listen to any unless there is a guest that really interests me. Not because I’m “cool” I just haven’t really gotten into podcasts yet in general.

It's always different strokes for different folks, I really like the podcast format because it is very portable and I can multi-task while consuming content. I still enjoy reading when I have downtime. Watching podcast content on YouTube, hard pass.

I canceled my satellite radio subscription because I pretty much listen to podcasts 90% of the time when I’m driving

I'm kind of like this, but I usually only listen while driving. If I'm working on something, I tend to tune out what's being said and only catch bits and pieces. But watching a video of someone just talking? Nope. People that use YouTube just to listen to music as well mystify me.

I've only ever listened to a couple. Maybe 1 or 2 from Whiskey throttle , 1 or two of Matthes and Gypsy's. Just never really been interested into listening to them.

I have listened to Whisky throttle’s interviews of riders from the 80-90”s, the era I care most about. No interest in listening to any others. No interest in hearing what todays riders have to say for some reason, maybe that will change in a few years. In the middle of Mike Craig’s currently, Luniss sounds like a tool! It takes me a while to get through one …. About an hr at a time, usually when I”m at the beach….I tried listening while working on my bikes in the garage but I prefer music while working on bikes…

I can't make it through a 2 or 3 hour podcast. Yeah, I'm old and I can't pay attention that long. The newer trend of breaking them up into 10-15 minute segments based on a specific topic I think is great though. Loved the ones on Sexton/Gypsy Tales that were recently put up on here.

Podcasts are my version of Real Housewives of whateverthefuck. As pathetic as it sounds, I listen to them all and they get me through my commute and work day. Not bragging.

If you don't listen to the podcasts you are missing out on a whole bunch of great content! But....some people like music more than talk so i get that too.

That's me . If I'm driving or doing stuff in the garage , cleaning the house whatever I have music on . My mind wanders listening to talk .

If i have a week of heavy programming, i will set myself up for it at work with a separate phone, and headset, and check out stuff i want to hear.

When SX starts i will listen to Pulp on a Tuesday, cant be doing with all the fantasy stuff, i am not 12.

I would probably listen to more but can't listen at workm and Im not in the car enough to really get through them, plus the wife and kids have little interest in listening to them while driving. Just not enoughg time to just sit and listen to a podcast.

I'm the same way. I have a hard time listening to a conversation I can't be a part of. The good tidbits will come out.

I used to live breathe sleep moto and look at every moto website and read every article.

I don't pay attention anymore, occasionally check Vital once a week, but I'll watch every race.

Same for me. I might listen to a few minutes of an interview here and there, but I have a short attention span and struggle to listen much longer than that..(had to force myself to listen to Tortelli talk about the Stark for 5 min),,

Also I really hate the video versions of the dirt bike shoot outs…they are horrible.

You put that into words I wanted to type. Just listening to something kinda bored me. Music yes....dudes just talking , I have a hard time with. I've tried , and after 10-15 mins my mind wanders.

I've listened to a couple of whiskey throttle pods when he's had guests i was interested in, the Lawrence brothers pod was awesome. Tried listening to gypsy tales but the dude just seems to ramble on.
When I'm driving or working on bikes it's just music for me

I really only listen to Pulp, WTS and DMXS when I'm mowing my lawn. I haven't listened to a podcast since the grass stopped growing.

I would listen while I was driving but my wife and I always travel together and she hates podcasts of any description.

I listen to Keefer regularly and the odd episode of Gypsy, Pulp or whiskey throttle. Keefer actually teaches me things about my bike setup and technique that provide a real value to my riding and understanding of how dirt bikes work. Being a vet means I don’t have time to burn listening to gossip pods and rider interviews, and my riding time is increasingly more precious as life’s other obligations pop up. Keefer has enriched my riding whereas most other podcasts provide moto-centric entertainment and I get enough of that from watching racing.

If you’re not into the dirt bike scuttlebutt but still ride when you can and seek continued improvement into your vet years, Keefer’s podcast is a great, totally free resource.

Podcast are way better than regular FM radio. Too many bad morning talk shows and commercials. I listen to them most of the day.

Can’t get into it for some reason. Would rather read an interview and watch the action. Weird enough I could listen to Holley and Blair on Race Day Live all day. Guess the action in between is what keeps me going.
